The Judge when ordering monetary sanctions argued those would make up for the time/money wasted so no other sanctions where needed. His boss changed that to just pay an arbitrary amount as punishment. I have the feeling the Judge is waiting to see if the drooler is going to pay up next week, for he has a whole list of new sanctions to order but if money does not work he might decide other sanctions.
Since the tenth circuit introduced the validity of time travel could the sanction be to send Arnold Schwarzenegger back in time to abort Russell and save everybody the trouble?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the magistrate move to hurt Mr. Greer with sanctions that showed that the gloves are off now, but the magistrate's boss overruled his sanctions and selected an arbitrary low amount and still Russell cried and said he will appeal it?
That's kind of ambiguous because the judge stepped in before the magistrate had ruled on the issue, ignored the actual detailed, well-reasoned bill of costs, and just pulled some imaginary number out of his ass with complete disregard for the actual lodestar calculation that is required by case law.

However, that said, and as lazy and incompetent as the actual ruling was, the judge did smack down Russtard's objection to the sanctions and actually impose some.

I just think the judge should be embarrassed by how fundamentally wrong his analysis was in every respect.

How many times have you had to type that sentence in this board?
Honestly it should be in the thread title.

Let's not overlook what is by far the best part of the filing:

Oh it was even better in context though...

I was already having a mirthful evening, but what a treat this latest filing was. Forget Russ being 7, he's now a Conclusion as well. I don't know if I could find a better comedy today in any form. Despite his plethora of legal filings, somehow Greer manages to find new ways to surprise and delight.

Supposing you were a magistrate judge who was getting sick of this shit, is there anything you could do to dump this fucking mess on the other judge so that he gets to savor the taste of the shit sandwich he's responsible for in part?

I'm merely asking out of curiosity because if I put in some work only to have my boss disregard it in such a callous and clueless way, I'd be fucking livid. Maybe judges are made of sterner material, but malicious compliance wouldn't even being to describe how I'd handle it.

you're personally invested in the outcome this 1 case, the judges aren't. If the boss wants to rule on something that's 1 less thing you and your office have to take care of and you move on to the next case that needs your ruling.

e: russ' retardation is obvious because he's a retard, there are other cases on the judge's docket where the lawyers are also pulling russ' bullshit but they're more sophisticated.

I wouldnt believe so since the magistrate is given authority by the judge presiding over the case. So while I believe they can make recommendations they wouldnt have the power to recuse the currently presiding judge.

There is no CONCLUSION in Pro Sing Se!

If the magistrate wants to shit this case up he just needs to make rulings that CAN be appealed to the district court immediately. That would be the equivalent of taking a shit on the district court judge’s desk.

If such exist.

I was already having a mirthf evening, but what a treat this latest filing was.

I downloaded and read the filing, because initially I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the hell Greer was responding to here. There wasn't anything that could give me any context in anything Russell wrote, other than him bitching about the same old issues that he'd raised before the court before and that had gotten him nowhere.

So I went and dug out the document that he purports to be responding to. Part of the motion is Hardin making the argument that Greer is attempting to deprive Null of his counsel of choice by making false allegations that Hardin has violated the standard protective order. That's the stuff that Greer obsesses over, despite the fact that the court has already ruled that Hardin didn't, and Greer admits that he hadn't read it. Yet he repeats this nonsense over and over again.

And did he leave off half his filing? Because the grandmaster of chess left half the board exposed.

The stuff he's responding to seemed to me to be the weakest part of Hardin's motion for sanctions. That's why I couldn't figure out which motion he was responding to. His brain seems to work in the strangest of ways. I think he must have some kind of OCD.

Greer has done that before, he basically just responds to the part that he wants to and ignores anything that even his version of logic can't work around. Like Hardin asked for sanctions because Greer kept on not providing all of the required information about his witnesses, which includes both their contact info and the anticipated scope of their knowledge. Greer continuously ignored that second part and never addressed it in any of his filing, all he would say over and over is that he just didn't have his brother and father's addresses but he gave the phone numbers so he had complied with the rule.

Mr. Greer's mouth is paralyzed, precluding any activity of the biting sort.

I believe it is just the exterior portion of his face that is paralyzed, so he can't move his lips to form words properly/pucker up to kiss/keep food from dribbling out onto his shirt, flare his nostrils, or wink at a pretty girl. I believe his interior muscles to work his jaw to bite and chew are functional, at least to an extent, or else he would be even more mush-mouthed than he is. For example: his tongue seems to work just fine.

Good advice. I will try to bear it in mind next time I feel the urge to go in the yard and holler in frustration. (I haven't actually done this because I'm an adult, but I have really wanted to).

This has been evident from the earliest evidence we have of him, the 'kill list'. Only his intention mattered. It was a 'joke', so everyone else should have instantly known that. This matured into 'there will be blood' and just being a shock jock'. Later on, his maladaptive compartmentalization* probably led to his car repossession and eviction.
What is important to Russ should automatically be important to everybody else, see the way he thinks all men use hookers. The most important part of his lawsuits to him are always the plights. This is not autism, this is entitlement.

Its a really interesting insight into his psychology.

*'Compartmentalization is a defense mechanism in which people mentally separate conflicting thoughts, emotions, or experiences to avoid the discomfort of contradiction.'

We all compartmentalize to survive, but when it is maladaptive you get Russ. One of the things that can lead to BPD and unhealthy compartmentalization is early life rejection. Gets the ol' noggin joggin'.

Indeed, and he "assumed" the legal process worked this way or that way, repeatedly, and so everyone else should honor his intention/assumption.
