I was just thinking the other day about that one news anchor who got into some shit for saying that she hopes that the little brain cancer kid doesn't kill himself someday like the 6* capitol police officers after Jan 6th, and I thought that was a statement worth pondering.
The idea, completely divorced from the situation wtih the kid, is that these capitol police killed themselves because of January 6th. Suicide. They couldn't stand the anguish of... "preventing an insurrection"? They were overcome by the shame of... failing to keep people out of a bilding? They had extreme PTSD from... a 2 hour long shoving match outside? They felt abandoned by.. the largest federal law enforcement action in US history, involving more than 4 years and half of all FBI agents in arresting people for misdemeanor trespass?
What the fuck could have been done that day by MAGA people that would make someone so upset that they had to kill themselves? I mean, according to that news lady's narrative, these people were heroes who basically saved the world. Why would the worlds greatest heroes kill themselves? How does that make any sense? "I got insurrectioned so bad that I ain't gonna never recover and now I gotta die. Only way bros." That's really what they want people to believe?
*It weren't actually 6 who killed themselves, I don't think. I know there were at least 2 who did, but one guy had a stroke, and another guy had a heart attack from shoveling snow (insanely common thing). So the woman is also wrong/lying about that thing too.
