Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread - Might have an account here

Also completely off topic but does anyone know how old Renn Reviews is supposed to be?

I hadn't seen any of his content in years but his review of Dragon Age Veilguard popped up in my recommended videos and I was surprised to see he's gray haired and looking 60.

I could have sworn he was a millennial.

I think there's like a 50% chance a community post pops up saying the review was too much work and to just watch the Kane's Games video instead.
If that's the case, Synth is an incredible cuck: He gave Vavra 100$ and about as many hours for absolutely nothing. He ate the slop and in doing so, he didn't even manage to make a video that will deter others from doing the same, he's just another consoomer at this point.
Sure, his streams generated money and did a decent job of showing how awful the game was, but was it really worth it? That's like your thread you put so much time into making here never getting out of PG, you can't really call it a success then.

Playing so many shitty games must have aged the man, no other explanation.

Eighty thousand concurrent players a month after launch is really good, especially for a singleplayer game.
Not in terms of retention, it had a really good launch but so far it resembles starfield quite closely which was considered a catastrophe

It's lent, asshole. Maybe think about how heavy that cross Synth's carrying, for you.
I'm pretty sure he was joking given how popular that phrase is.
Feels like synth is running out of steam in recent times. Doesn't help that he obsesses over views and whether he's shadowbanned or not.
Absolutely, like that Puar video showed he's just not as happy anymore, especially after getting his shit shadowbanned instantly. Who knows what'll happen if and when he's banned.

Starfield had a lot more resources pumped into it and suffered more of a steep decline post launch. Not to mention KCD2's reviews compared to Slopfield.

It's interesting to keep in mind, but I don't think we should rule out the possibility that it was a financial success just yet. It certainly didn't have Veilguard's numbers.

What a lot of people don't understand is that this kind number drop is typical for singleplayer games. KCD2 is not the kind of game that has multiplayer as a focus and with a liner storyline there is very little room or incentive for people to play the game more/again. For most people a one and done playthrough is all they need. Some dont get past certin points in the game due to various reasons. Others have completed the game and have moved on. Palworld for example had a similar numbers drop despite the massive sales figures, I put the blame on lack of content. I bet if you lined up the time/numbers data of other purely singleplayer games with KCD2 and Starfield the graphs would likely look pretty simmilar (with brief peaks later on for various content additions)

KCD2 isn't a GaaS though, each copy sold is a success, it doesn't rely on faggots buying season passes or cosmetic items.
Neither does Skyrim, a 15 year old game, and soon it will have better numbers than Kingdom Cuck. Happened with Starfield too, which as I already mentioned had better sales.

It might make it's money back, but Vavra's little stunts have confirmed that the franchise is dead in the water. That's a massive net negative down the line.

By the time the next one comes out, the novelty will have worn off. But besides that, this game's ending leaves no room for a sequel
There will be a prequel where you play as Musa, starting in Mali and getting chased out for being a public menace. Then you have to travel across Europe begging for pitybucks while at the same time preaching how superior black culture is. You also get to groom a young, impressionable white male into becoming a homosexual or transsexual since it's normal in medieval Europe.

History doesn't really either. Hans, Ziska and the Dry Devil die before the Hussite wars end and afterwards Hans' son joins forces with Sigismund and becomes his Hofmeister. So everything you do throughout Henry's story (Except for killing Istvan Toth) is pretty much pointless.

Is his "playing awful games" stream archived anywhere?

The one with Gollum and Forspoken.
