I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that this was not directly from him.

With the amount of time he spends talking about this specific case, it's probably one of the only times he can say it wasn't him.

Man what a great dood, looking out for the community (he can help you by telling the platform that it isn't him) *but please tell me first*

This probably qualifies as (actually) insane behavior.
is it not insane to have people rely on you for income and benefits like that when your whole platform is content creation, a volatile market?
and this was accomplished in a year? this is like when a rookie gets picked up in the NFL and they have that celabratory "first dinner" they end up paying 40k for, going broke in 5 years

im like 90% sure it wasnt him, and entertaining the though it was some sort of plot to kill this one random person on twitter that uploads clips is retarded. its a good thing more people like you understand this, there are trolls doing gayops on his which is cringe, he doesnt need help to be a lolcow

its the same thing with cheating in puzzle games or the voice changer shit, or the pedo shit from second life. its not real and fabricating this shit harms the credibility of actual lolcow funny crashouts like being the face of indie games and dmca'ing an indie dev, lying to his audience about a thousand different things, denying being a nepobaby, being actually incompetent, losing 5k active viewers due to not releasing his game and fucking world of warcraft, etc.

dont get fat on fast food get fat on lobster

the cheating in puzzle games stuff is real, like his tunic gameplay(if someone can find that archive, otherwise don't go giving him views and just trust me) at 12:10:10 he already knows the name of the puzzle despite never being there, it's clearly cheating because it's impossible to know that in a first or blind playthrough like he advertises the stream/vod

the voice changer shit
I agree that "haha voice changer" is fast food, but I believe there is some fine meat to be found on the voice subject in that Jason pretends he's not putting any effort into the absurdly deep voice and gets incredibly defensive at the idea that there's anything other than a second puberty going on. I'd say Harmful Opinions has the best analysis of this, particularly on his stream where he went over the "Anything for Content" video.
I wish a more significant amount of people would, instead of throwing around "voice changer", hit him more often with "voice training", "radio voice", and "proximity effect". It's so telling that any time he addresses the voice issue he only brings up the voice changer accusation.

Its exactly this
Hi, recording engineer here, I do this for a living and i can assure you there is no voice changer.
It's 90% in the distance to the mic, 5% voice training 5% mic choice
I also want to know why he's using some cheap mic in his rode arm, i know it used to be some kind of blue yeti, now just look like a generic podcast mic with a gain knob.
Man i want to see him on some IRL podcast where they use RE-20's with dip-switches ON and see him struggle.

If you listen to him talking about his voice, sometimes he will try to deepen his sound even further to mock the idea that he is faking but you will notice that his 'deepest' voice is actually not very far from his stream voice (that we think are fake).

Like...if normal is 0 and his deepest voice is 100, his stream is voice is like at 80. That's why he struggles to go even deeper. It's not a voice changer. He's doing an elizabeth holmes.

i noticed that, in the acusations video his voice goes up an octave for the high range but his lower voice is the same octave and sounds strained
as if hes doing a charecter voice and not lowering his voice

he "solved" a puzzle that took the community weeks to figure out after walking by it a few times
That's the one that had a map disguised as a poster, right? I have a couple thoughts on that if so.

Maldy tries to claim he didn't cheat because there weren't complete guides when he was figuring out the puzzle, however he does not mention what step the Animal Well community was stuck on when he "solved" it. So it is still within reason that the community already solved the majority of the steps and he could have been copying what has been solved already.

Secondly, that poster on the wall is the weirdest most cryptic shit I have ever seen for a side puzzle. There's no way someone figured that out without help from the devs, or equally likely, there was another step to the puzzle that Maldy skipped over because he wanted to be smart.

I always had this hunch the way he spoke was fake (before the idea a voice changer was a theory.) because of how he spoke. Let me explain; When people *talk*, like a normal conversation, the person actually talks, right? So if you were to tell your friend, "I had a burger and fries today", you'd probably say it pretty normally, kinda fast. Not a really eventful thing, yeah?

If you were to use a speaking voice, you'd say it with a bit more tone to it, clear annunciation, intention of being clear. That's how Jason talks. Like his speaking voice (lmao) is his default.

Essentially, his voice that he uses to talk, was always suspicious to me. People who talk with deep voices like this are usually faking it to either sound cool or are insecure about their own voice.

The day that mald solved it there were already complete guides for the puzzle available online
