"Well this was ok, but I really just wanted to try it, and I probably won't be finishing this"
*closes game, repeats 8 times a week*

Modern Vinny is depressing and like the posterboy for why you don't turn playing games into your job

He does that its called his pre recorded streams and those get a significantly less amount of viewership than normal twitch streams he does. He also does stuff like Slay the Spire too which he even said a couple days ago people don't tune in for or "fall asleep" to it but hes still going be streaming Slay the Spire 2 anyway because he likes it.

Pre-recorded streams were so nice (for me) Xenoblade Chronicles Remaster was one I really enjoyed, despite it being years ago.

I think Poke is fun. He's a good foil, the lad knows when to shut the fuck up (unlike most streamers). The chemistry of the four isn't the absolute best, especially compared to just Jerma and Ster who'd be better placed in a 70's British two-men-who-hate-eachother sitcom. They're what you're left with when a teacher goes "alright, class, form up groups of 4". I'd always take them over another vtumor scream-a-thon.

He's a terrible cameraman, that's for sure. Protagonista syndrome is real, and not even in a disparaging way; it's just how someone has to think while streaming, in a Me vs The Audience mode.

I think that's precisely why they obsess over him. Discord trannies spend their life on the internet and they don't interact with normal people, so they try to form a parasocial connection with him because he's just a normal likeable dude and they have a lack of human touch, they seek validation from him or something, maybe all the crazy psycho bits are just trannies trying to bring him down to their level, I don't really know, it's hard trying to rationalize this hivemind of mindless drones.
