Something to add, unappealable but you can always reapply.. it makes it a new case instead of litigating on the same case which if expanded causes a massive backlog,

That's rough, I once was denied German visa because the consulate mixed up my documents with some fucker who was on the list.
The next time I applied to visa consul talked to me directly, it was all cleared and I got my 3-month visa to Germany. And Germany is supposed to be the toughest EU country on visas.
