I took Latin but never saw this word outside of a legal filing. The world has gone to hell in a hand basket since we stopped forcing the clever kids to learn Latin in high school.

Russell est puer molestus.*raises hand* Three years of High school Latin reporting for duty! Put me in coach! Villa est villa Romana. Villa lacunem habet.
"Sextus molestus!"Russell est puer molestus.
I wouldn't call it sarcastic. Hardin's right: Greer's story changed from "My witness is ready, willing, and able!" to "I can't get in touch with my witness because we had a falling out!" to "Turns out my star witness is dead!" And this is on top of Greer not understanding deposition and witness tampering. It's maddening. Hardin's responses provide a much-needed comic relief. Besides, given how the court has gone to bat for Greer, Hardin has to respond to every little thing Greer finds, lest the court seize upon that to rule against Josh. But it always makes me nervous when his prose begins to get florid and sarcastic. It's great entertainment for us, but I recall the judge in the Melinda case not finding things funny as the electronic record continued to grow and grow and grow (as usual it was largely the judge's own fault for refusing to act, but whatevs).
Omg senpai noticed me...Oh, YUMMY:

I've fallen into a case law rabbit hole tonight and I'm going to take a moment to fangirl Justice Gorsuch again.
I'd gladly do it, ngl.ARGH, can't somebody please hire a proofreader for Hardin?

That would not be this motion.I think Hardin really should've pushed back on Russell's accusation that Hardin and Null have been recording and posting their private meet and confers
Ideally, a response would narrowly frame the issue to make it easy for the judge to ignore Greer's rambling motion and deny it for the reasons Hardin stated. But a short motion like that often takes more time to write than a long one.Hardin obviously had fun with this filing:

Quo usque tandem abutere, Russell, patientia nostra? Quam diu etiam furor iste tuus nos eludet? quem ad finem sese effrenata iactabit audacia?Russell est puer molestus.
Don't mind me, just uploading the Magistrate Judge's ruling on the motion to compel.
