I do find it odd how popular he is despite how few videos he's made (besides Game Grumps). He really blows a hole in TGWTG's weekly output strategy.

I think a lot of this has to do with Jon's production values. His videos look a lot more professional than, say, Linkara's or Doug's but as a result take longer to produce. Stuff like that goes a long way in catching people's attention. Plus the longer production time means more time to fine-tune the jokes, something the TGWTG guys aren't able to do

To put it another way, look at the legitimately good Grimbo makeup and Star Wars costumes in Jon's videos and then look at Doug's cheap-ass Batman and Superman costumes and you tell me which one you'd rather watch.

I just find it kind of funny to see Jon of all people participating in Sargon's videos considering how different their videos are from each other.

Either way, it's nice to see him sticking to his beliefs and not trying to please all these nutjobs.

Where did you hear that? I remember on Game Grumps, forever ago, Arin brought up the fact that Barry (their then-editor) was the only Jew (I can't remember the episode or exact context, but I think Jon was joking about Barry being greedy or something and Arin laughed about how inappropriate it was that Barry, the one Jew, was being singled-out).
Game Grumps has nothing to do with Normal Boots, it never has (and Jon is the co-owner of Normal Boots, along with Peanut Butter Gamer).

Didn't the peanut guy say something really vulgar about Jontron within a day after appearing in Sargon's stream? There's been so many attempted character assassinations on so many people this past month-or-so that I have trouble keeping track.

He said him and Jon weren't friends anymore, but that had been the case for a while and it wasn't because Jon appeared on the livestream. Still, the timing got people very suspicious. A short while later though, they were back on good terms and talking about meeting up for a beer sometime.

The far-left's biggest issue has been their inability to police themselves, and each other, all along. No bad tactics, only bad targets. The hatred in my heart is totally different from the hatred in yours. No way will it lead to the same outcome.
