You have to look at it from their perspective, they convinced the public that jews died in holocoasters and in battles with eagles and giraffes. They got people to believe the civil rights movement was non-violent. They convinced people Kamala was black. Why wouldn't you just say whatever the fuck you want when you know most people will believe it.
It's funny, I was absent-mindedly reading your post when I realized how long it was and immediately thought to myself "This has got to be Macaulay."
on mobile its long, but the posts rarely go beyond half of my desktop monitor.

Why is Elon Musk so obsessed with 'ghost employees'?
I imagine it's because many large companies have employees who get a paycheck and do either very little or absolutely nothing in return. When I worked onsite for a large nameless corporation, one of the corp's employees literally slept all day when he showed up and had the flimsiest of excuses why. Additionally, some people get hired by cronies who promise them a paycheck in return for not having to work at all. Musk seems intent on identifying such individuals and firing them as much as possible because such workers are a drain and those wages eventually add up over time even if the number of ghost workers is a fraction of a percent.

As for Trump being hated for his efforts to have peace between Russia and Ukraine, it's not that surprising in today's political climate where people overlook the bigger picture: Trump trying to appeal to both sides to work something out. When Zelensky decided to have his tantrum, Trump naturally chose to appeal to Putin next. As discussed before, too many people view life in absolutes. Liberals are going to hate Trump simply because he's not liberal and they refuse to acknowledge the possibility he might favor or adopt policies that directly benefit them. They're unwilling and/or unable to accept the fact that pretty much every politician at every level is going to make decisions that are both likeable and unlikable while they are in office. The minute someone from the wrong party acts in a perceived wrong way, there is nothing but hate and vitriol in response. Someone earlier in the thread posted about their experience where a neutral "Can't we all just get along?" post led to screeching, blocks, and/or bans. Sadly, this has become the norm in all aspects of life where politics is permeating everything. I saw the same thing happen when Trump was elected the first time and nothing has changed since then.

News of the UAW or even Fain personally supporting Trump's tariffs is a big shock if true. It wasn't long ago that Fain was one of many on the Anti-Trump bandwagon who would rather drink battery acid over saying anything positive about Trump. Politics really does make strange bedfellows.

As much as opponents are criticizing Trump's on and off tariff announcements as being wishy-washy or inconsistent, they're missing the bigger picture. It's a negotiation tool that has subsequently led to Mexico deciding they will in fact negotiate with the US if it means the tariffs are delayed or canceled. Meanwhile, Canada's government is akin to a drifting ship with no crew and a captain that would rather maintain the course down a self-destructive path than try to work out something that's mutually acceptable to both sides which would stave off a bad outcome.

Israel is not friendly
I didn't say they were. I merely pointed out that the regime(s) prospering from Israeli disappearance from the ME very, very likely would be more hostile to the US.
and how are they useful?
Israel's role as a US proxy in the region has no strategic value, or any other value, to the US? Are you seriously going to argue that?

He's controlled by people who don't pay him? Make that make sense.
🤦‍♀️

He became famous from his Fox News show (that he hosted until he got fired). Now he's on his own, shilling simplified versions of popular Alt-Right talking points (topics usually covered by much more anti-establishment influencers) to people who are too far right/inherently suspicious of mainstream cable news.

He's controlled in the sense that, Carlson is probably being promoted/funded by some conservative think tank trying to reach out/influence Alt-Right folks who only consume New Media like podcasts (no newspapers/cable news).

Tucker Carlson used to wear a bowtie all the time. That isn't really his brand anymore but still, when someone asks me what kind of grifter he is, "The kind that wears a bowtie," is the best answer I can give you.
This. Just, this 👆

What's the big deal if Iran has nukes. They will use them on Israel not US
I should really just make a copy pasta because I’m tired of repeating this. This map from Google images is old but I think things are more or less the same excluding Syria - I don’t know where they stand.

The countries in red are America’s allies. The USA wants them in control of the ME. The green countries by supporting Iran oppose US interests.

It’s a big game of Civilization. America wants an economic victory or military if necessary. This will always just be an important area of the world for its resources.

I am pleased to report that Second-Best Korea is full of freedom-loving American patriots. Many red hats, "Stop the Steal" signs, and Old Glories to be seen at their mostly peaceful protests.

SEOUL, South Korea — Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was released from prison on Saturday, deepening political divisions in the key U.S. ally as he faces insurrection charges over his failed attempt to declare martial law.
South Koreans have even adopted symbols and slogans associated with Trump, waving “Stop the Steal” signs at rallies.

Why do I have to pay for this? What do I get out of it?
