Yeah, when was the last time this thread was active from drama specifically about Arin? Even when the thread gets slightly revived, it's from some other retards doing retarded things (Supermega and their BPD ex friends). The most shit he's gotten into in recent years is his mom's weird horse charity/tax evasion scam, but that gets discussed in the iDubbbz thread more than here.

This might not be the thread to ask, but whatever happened to that? I haven't watched OneyPlays in a very long time because I've been so busy, but every couple of months I'd check if the YIIK finale happened and they never seemed to get around to it? Sad if true.

This might not be the thread to ask, but whatever happened to that? I haven't watched OneyPlays in a very long time because I've been so busy, but every couple of months I'd check if the YIIK finale happened and they never seemed to get around to it? Sad if true.

What this guy said, to be honest. Love Ding Dong, thinks he's a hysterical guy but he cannot handle an internet presence at all anymore. He'll be ok for like a month, get back into old drama, complain about being in old drama when he's the one that brought it up and then fuck off into the void for awhile. I know all the bs that happened at GG really ate away at him but I hope he gets his shit straight.

Regardless, I do think that Yiik finale was the thing most poorly handled by Oneyplays, probably ever in the grand scope of the channel. God tier playthrough they promised a spectacular finale for that would've been a great book end to the DD/Julian era of Oneyplays. But they just decided not to do it for some reason. Wish they'd just release the final part and at least discuss what the plan was going to be. Had to sit through a bunch of kinda lame kirbopher episodes for nothing.

Just rewatching old Oneyplays and DD seems like a "That kid" kind of person. He always has a ridiculous relevant personal anecdote whenever a subject comes up. I've spent a lot of time around those kinds of people, and the stories almost always are heavily embellished, to straight up fabrications. If Ding Dong wasn't in Oney Plays he would have absolutely ended up as a lolcow.
  1. Makes games but doesn't finish them
  2. Gay, but is really fucking weird and self conscious about it
  3. Has weird fetishes
  4. Can't leave drama in the past
  5. Reignites said drama on a regular basis, then complains about it
  6. Only ever gives info about why he's upset in vague snippits "Because he doesn't want to talk about it" despite always talking about it
  7. Is catty about everybody he encounters, but cannot take any criticism towards himself
I genuinely think Julian is a saint for putting up with him, and probably talking him off the edge on a regular basis. I hope it isn't as one sided as it seems because I think Julian seems like an alright dude, and he doesn't deserve that kind of life with a shitty person like that. The worst thing Julian did was have a hard time being funny on the fly, which he gets a lot better at over time, and having reservations about becoming Internet famous which is pretty based if you ask me.

Chris could potentially be a lolcow too because a lot of the same shit, it's pretty telling that almost everyone he surrounds himself with is lolcow adjacent, yet he gets a pass because he is/was popular. There are multiple occasions where people point out that he's a lazy slob. I recall a story about him getting pissed about a doordash driver telling him to clean up the boxes of amazon shit he ordered but never opened off his porch because it looked like shit and he was so butthurt about it that he ranted about it on Oneyplays. Also where's Bowlbo lmao. Once the money and fame dries up for Chris, I would not at all put it past him ending up just like Arin.

That just reminded me, holy shit. Remember that "comedy" eSports web series they tried to do like 10 years ago? I remember hearing that Dan Harmon was somehow involved so I gave it a watch, turns out he just had some kind of deal with YouTube to produce some YouTube content but wasn't involved in the writing/directing at all. Anyway, it was godawful

Yeah I think it was called Good Game. I couldn't even try to finish the free episode of it because it was just that atrocious.

The real answer came from Chris, it was hyped up way to much and he knows it'll be a major let down He should still release it and be a disappointment, but TBF people were acting like it was going to be his magnum opus.
