How could he have even filed the DMCA? We can see his screen the entire time he's awake, and his other screen has the guide for whatever game he's playing. He probably told someone to do it but unless he has a third hand behind his back (technically possible, he is a troll mongoloid) he couldn't have.

Then again when you're a hacker on that level (+insider with all the software developers) maybe he has a secret DMCA keybind that wouldn't show up on stream. Although we've seen him WOW and know he can't keybind...

The day that mald solved it there were already complete guides for the puzzle available online
I believe (and more dedicated posters can verify this if they so choose) Mald started on the day the guide released, or the the next day after that. Very strange for someone who totally didn't need a guide anyway.

Sigh.... He has twenty years experience hacking DMCA's. He invented hacking DMCA.

> Paying for Janny's therapy because they see "a bunch of horrible shit"
You should neck yourself ASAP, if you need therapy from moderating a Twitch chat. The only actually horrible shit his staff sees his Malds face and him showing of his gnome inserting skills.
To be fair, if they have to moderate his discord I imagine they have to see actual, deep hurting, horrifying shit in there, particularly any channels that might be not really available for the public.

Blizzard is a Reddit company, they’ve even underwent a similar evolution to Reddit over the years.

So I guess even in QA he got infected with the culture.
as a former corp wageslave i can attest that company culture, especially in your formative years, sticks to you like a disease

seeing as mald was born in blizzard 20 years ago and fed stolen fridge milk its no surprise he behaves like he who has no life

New Blockgame update. While largely unimportant, here are some funnies:

Fixed a bug that caused players to die twice when killed by a mob using a bow.
Fixed a bug that caused equipped items to take damage from punches when PVP is disabled.
Fixed a bug that allowed players to open chests through walls.

How do you manage this shit, lmao. These aren't even bugs in the normal game. What's all the "coding" on stream done for if this shit was allowed to go unfixed for however long?

You can no longer pickup items directly into your backpack.

And fuck the player's convenience, am I right?

Finally finished my super secret special project for Maldy. Was worried I'd miss page 400 but looks like the thread screeched to a halt last night.
To fix that, I got an update on Heartbound's store page.
Looks like Roachboy's plan to slowly pump out small hotfixes in order to get rid of the 13 month disclaimer worked, because when I tried grabbing a fresh screencap for my project, it wasn't there anymore.

I feel like this should be reported to Steam in order to get it back, but I know human intervention is a tall ask for an automation-focused company like Valve

Does mald actually fix these bugs on stream? Some look like the kind of things that require more than just editing config files. Could they just be updates done to the underlying plugins/mods he's using and he's just bumping the versions he's using?

ACKSHUALLY it was 14 months. Here's a screenshot if you need it for your project

Cherishs the fact mald willingly going out the gene pool, if i recall correctly mald's has sibling so his father legacy in a different branch still secured... Mald in the other hand going to be the most l33t haxxxor at the retirement home, probably going to stream how he schooling the goblins around him, how to use a decraped version of game maker to help him finishing up Heartbound 7...

The idea Mald might finish not just the current but altogether 6-7 games in the heartbound series is genuinely one of my the most optimistic things I've read all year! Who says KF is all doom and gloom when farmers have the spirit of hope!?
Edit: half the post was cut off

So is he still playing the Witness or did he realise he couldn't cheat in the final stretch and folded like a slime?
Did he really stop playing The Witness without finishing it and without touching the one puzzle where he can't cheat? What's his excuse?

I don't watch his stream, but I was waiting for the clips of him trying that puzzle to pop up. I already thought maybe he really was good at it and there was just nothing to see, but if he just chickened out... Pretty sure he has some really good excuse like how he absolutely has to play Monster Hunter 24/7 now and cannot have that interrupted by doing anything else even for just an hour.

I checked the vods. It looks like he played all the way through to the "basic" ending, but didn't access the challenge area for the special ending - he had access, but looks like he didn't know about it... Or did he?

Also, he had 10k viewers, but his chat is moving like he has maybe 100-500. Significantly less than a message per second. Even when he manages to access the mountain, it's like a couple of pages of congratulations in the chat. I dunno...

With how many hours he already sunk into it, it wouldn't surprise me if:
  1. He made that excuse for why he drops The Witness
  2. He was actually serious and he's just that addicted to Wilds
Speaking from my knowledge of this thread, Jason clearly has an issue controlling his habits. Something as genuinely fun as Wilds coming out must have his mind caged like his ferrets a sick dog.

Could you imagine if this is how his thread dies? Activity surrounding Jason has already dried up since 2 days ago. What if he's just so deep into Wilds he just streams that and doesn't cause any more trouble? It'd still be pathetic and I'd have MASSIVE blueballs if this thread died right before page 400, but I'd honestly be content if it means he isn't being a nuisance anymore.

A thread never dies until the lolcow itself dies. Sometimes it keeps going after that even if slightly. See lowtax and coach redpill.

He still has his obligations he isn't meeting - much like yandev.
He can't ever pop back up without people bringing up shit. So unless he stays offline forever (he won't as he's still streaming) it will haunt him forever.
