Spectra's actually a good vtuber who I can put on for background during the afternoon because she's on england time. She's got dry humor so it could just be a rugpull, as she says in her recent video the announcement isn't sad (at 2:39:00):


It could be a new model as her genmate DK Graves just got a new one, a hiatus for school/work.

I remember trying to get into Pippa. I watched one too many streams where It was just her chat spamming "ESL" over and over again. I jumped ship when Dizzy Debuted.

Which is a shame because I think Pippa's a really interesting person who deserves all of her success up to this point.

Pippa's said that other members of Phase Connect have told her directly that they do not like her chat. Hell, even Lisa has been apprehensive of Pippa's chat even after a year of knowing and being on stream with her. I don't believe that Rie hates Pippa. They had some great colabs together. The 3,000 shit flinging monkeys that follow her is another story.

  • There was at least one meltdown (with some tweet swipes on main) after a Pippa raid
  • A full on meltdown on main when Phase Music launched (shortly after the Ripper was privated) over people wondering if the Ripper was going to be re-uploaded to the Phase Music channel, due to it being the single most successful Phase original song in terms of view count.
  • And then, iirc, there was indication of another, less public meltdown (and possible missed streams?) following the release of Ice Cream Machine with SO87, which did crazy numbers (like 90k views in like 24 hrs, iirc) on a channel that didn't even have 1000 subs when it released.

Rie appears to be what she probably is, a wealthy, asian, AU shitlib from central casting, who doesn't much care for the whites in general. There is also the vibe that she views Pippa as a rival, while Pippa just seems to be doing her own thing.

Whole dynamic is retarded, and I wouldn't care, if it weren't for the fact that a chunk of Pippa's brain worms surrounding her feelings of being a "burden" (which have been dramatically better over the last 3 months) seem to stem from Rie's tantrums.

rie falseflagged her curated "big brother application stream" with a capipi entry. she purposefully left in a pippa mention and melted down about it.

Viewers that actively read the chat are fuckin' weeeeeird. Same for streamers that get super hung up on the constant maintenance of their public chat's "culture" to the exclusion of all else, especially if they are accepting raids and aren't in sub-only mode.

The chat feed is there for the streamer to do crowd work with and feed off of for content, it's going to be moving way the fuck too fast for a viewer to follow for nearly any streamer that's getting into 4-view territory. If there's a regular chat message you don't like, even spam, literally wait 2 seconds and it will be like it never happened. Acknowledging trolling or "calling it out" as undesirable is choosing to feed into the behavior you are trying to dissuade.

I don't catch her live often, but remembering how Jerma's chat became I wouldn't doubt for a second how annoying people can become.

This is about the Trails series, she did good, basically did a tourist filter. But she's so dry she might drop something at the very end. I do like trying to fight back against the announcement streams, if only to give hope.

edit: she actually double reversed, she is graduating March 29th. Sad.
