I have quite a few things that pissed me off during Zack's 'speech'. There were so many things said that if not outright lies, definitely skirted the truth. I cant be bothered going back and re-watching to remind me of all the things he said, but the one that pissed me off the most, was when he started going on about being a parent, walking his precious son to school each morning and how the bill would criminalized this. He went on about how how it is based on the lie that this is a fetish, and that they are trying to make him living a normal life as a parent into a sexual crime.
Firstly Zack, this absolutely is a fetish. Just because you live it 24/7 and no longer get as much of a thrill because it's no longer illicit doesn't make it any less of a fetish. The thing is though, TRAs argued that research about transgender people has been going on for decades that has only supported them. Obviously I dont believe this, but for arguments sake lets say it is true, what the hell do the people working at the FDA do all day that it takes decades for them to endorse something that (according to TRAs) has decades of research backing it? How does any work get done at the FDA if something that was supported decades before doesn't get endorse until decades later? I dont work for the FDA but if this is the troon argument then what makes them believe the FDA will at some point endorse these treatments in the next 10 years?
