Finally watched Gangs of New York. It was very good and surprisingly funny but I thought it was a strange casting choice to make Leonardo DiCaprio play the villain.

How many Sasquatch rape movies did you watch to determine which one was the best?Tanya’s Island (1980) is definitely the best Sasquatch rape movie ever made.

Just the one, and even that was too muchHow many Sasquatch rape movies did you watch to determine which one was the best?
The release of this got pushed back so many times I can't even take it seriously to book tickets. Expecting super fast release to online streaming/dvds.Just went and saw Mickey 17 yesterday and it was so good. Super unique concept and it had me and my husband crying laughing. It’s a dark comedy/sci-fi film that follows Robert Pattinson character who signs up to be an expendable, meaning he gets tested on like a lab rat but then just gets replaced with another version of himself with the memories he had before. It’s really funny and I recommend it highly, but I will warn you that Mark Ruffalo plays a character that is definitely supposed to be like Donald Trump so if those things upset you then don’t watch.

Even Spike Lee did a movie with a white protagonist. Incidentally, one of his best films. The 25th Hour, starring Ed Norton as a felon spending his last day before going to prison for a long time.Monkey Man is great fun. And I find it refreshing that it's directed by Jordan Peele. I assumed, until then, that he only focused on Black protagonists. Yes, Dev Patel is brown-skinned, but it's nice that the 'hero' isn't a Black bloke for once.
Based on an inexplicably good novel written by one of the two goofs who ran the Game of Thrones TV show.Even Spike Lee did a movie with a white protagonist. Incidentally, one of his best films. The 25th Hour, starring Ed Norton as a felon spending his last day before going to prison for a long time.
Not a Spike Lee fan, but I'll have to check that out.Even Spike Lee did a movie with a white protagonist. Incidentally, one of his best films. The 25th Hour, starring Ed Norton as a felon spending his last day before going to prison for a long time.
Honestly one of my favorite films of all time.It might be harder to find if you're not familiar with torrenting, but Bi Gan's Long Day's Journey Into Night is phenomenal, especially if you're more a fan of "artsy" stuff. I've never seen a take on memory/the present done so well.
I thought I was reading John Coffee, rather than John *Collee.* Nearly went into a choking fit, laughing. And Dev Patel wrote and directed this? Huh. I wonder if it's his debut in those fields. That sounded weird to me and IMDb seems to agree:
