Again, the Sherlock fandom is one that will proudly proclaim they know how to murder someone and make it look like an accident, hide the body, and if they're also a "Fannibal" will invite everyone over to dinner to help dispose of the body unawares. (All because of all the "research" they've done for fanfiction and AU writing.)

The larger Sherlock fandom is filled with weird, slightly scary people who model their lives after a fictional self proclaimed sociopath and drug addict. And if not modeling their lives after Sherlock himself, will be fictionkin with equally fictional psychopath James Moriarty.

I was a sherlock fan, I browsed tumblr, I tried to "deduce" things like the show did, and plot twist; you look dumb as fuck doing that in public. The sad thing is, they probably do. Talking like you know people when you've just met them is a surefire way to have people avoid you like the plague if anything. You don't look smart.

The show is pretty much fantasy when it boils down to it, outrageous mystery plots, sometimes well written storylines- but the fans are so deep in the "GAY REPRESENTATION SHIPPING" that they have zero ability to focus on the show for it's.... I don't know, actual entertainment purpose?

I also recall that any other gay ships aside from johnlock were attacked by johnlock shippers, which makes it quite funny when they scream about wanting any form of representation.

I swear to god though, I thought that I had seen everything all those years ago when whatever season where sherlock fucking died or something and there was apparently a kiss scene with sherlock and the main villain, but now sjws are writing open letters to the CHARACTERS?

No wonder the show only gets three episodes every few years.

These idiots all ignore that from the onset, the creators and lead writers (one of whom is a gay man) said that John and Sherlock would never be a canon couple, they weren't doing that with this version. Yeah, this Sherlock seems like he might be bisexual but John is very much a straight man, nevermind that whenever someone mistakes them for a couple, they are both vocal that's not how their relationship goes. Of course, recognising that the guys behind this series didn't want to do what basically all other versions, even the one with RDJ, have seemed to do ruins their headcanons and isn't representation whatsoever, but of course, that's not the point for them.

And yes….Conan Doyle would have written a surprise special, a veiled special, played a trick on his readers. He loved doing that sort of thing.

Ah yes, the same ACD who hated his creation so much that he tried to kill him off specifically so that he could stop writing stories. Who told someone who wanted to write about a married Holmes "You may marry him, murder him, or do anything you like to him." Who was pissed that he was never remembered for his historical works and felt that writing about Holmes was holding him back.
Clearly he would give a shit about all of this, if only he wasn't too preoccupied with being dead.

Can't believe these people actually watched Apple Tree Yard expecting it to be a secret Sherlock episode, and then complained that it wasn't. That's just amazing.
Now I'm disappointed that I didn't know about all this until after the show ended.
