The fight is worth it for two reasons.

The first is obvious: this site should be allowed to exist. Words on a screen have never hurt anyone, and no one is above criticism. If someone doesn't like what we're saying, perhaps they just shouldn't look. And more than anything: it's just a fun site. It's the internet as it existed for so very long before the unfortunate corporate takeover, or as it's better known, "Web 2.0." The second is that people like Liz/Elliot can never, ever be allowed to win. I firmly believe he's actually evil, and I know I'm not alone in that belief. LFJ is a profoundly terrible, manipulative monster of a person, and should he get a win, it will allow him to hide his monstrous predatory behavior from the public eye. And when a predator is able to hide their behavior, it's only natural they will repeat that behavior. Given how much money and pull he has, the damage this absolute monster could do is immeasurable.
