People like this are just proof of why Keynesian Economics can never work in practice. I think it actually would work in a Ruling Monarchy/Dictatorship but one where parties vie for control no it was doomed from the start.

For those unaware John Maynard Keynes had a very simple idea on how government should run itself and influence the economy. Basically in times of a growing economy the Government should cut its spending + add taxes and in a depression the government should spend away and fund programs + cut taxes. Keynes wanted stability.

But when you have the political leadership determined by who the populace is happiest with they throw Keynes politics out the window. That’s why we have a catastrophic debt thanks to Trump 2016 and Biden.

Trump has sadly only cut a trivial amount of government excess; wants to end a foreign war, cut total bullshit, and add Tariffs which are taxes. Such small things that Keynes would have agreed with makes the stock market drop and people panic. This is why no US admin will ever get the debt under control.

Sad to be blackpilled but DOGE will not save us, Trump will be forced to perform more wasteful spending or face a GOP wipeout in 2 years. The only good thing is seeing liberals seethe.

I don't think Trump will be successful and he's handing power over to some of the biggest companies in the world ran by literal sexual deviants and Epstein associates and expecting them to help Americans. When has this worked? It's the same thing Democrats did 2008-2016.

Brother, the democrats will keep clucking about Trump's egg prices for generations. egg prices could drop to one penny a dozen and democrats will still pretend the prices are still out of control until the next Democrat gets into office. Then they will claim on day one of that administration that everything is suddenly better.

Donald Trump wants me to personally invade Canada? I’ll be his top guy me!?

My family in Michigan and Buffalo have kinda seen this coming regardless. Canuks have been grocery shopping in the US due to cheaper US goods in greater numbers for the past few years. They are really fucking annoying and have been complaining about how shit is getting worse in Canada.
Their government is likely losing a lot of tax revenue because the border hopping to shop in the US. The whole buy Canadian thing is likely about that tax revenue, too.

How much was opting in going to cost? If it's a meaningless gesture that was going to cost a ton of my taxpayer money then who cares, go shill to some other country. If it's a meaningless gesture that wasn't going to cost any of my taxpayer money then who cares, stop wasting our time.

In regards to the excerpt. Whether it’s infamous claims like the “holocoaster”, claims of advanced rape machines, or SS guards putting Jews into rockets and shooting it into the sun (this one I just imagined but I bet someone made that claim somewhere) the truth is yes people lied and exaggerated things. And why would they make up such things? For a multitude of reasons. I’m sure there were also a vast number of people who lied and claimed they survived the concentration camps for the sake of a grift.

To claim that the false accounts completely disprove the whole accepted Holocaust history is a vast leap in judgement. There’s so much extensive documentation in that era of history.

Please if you want to argue about this more just go to the Holocaust thread in Deep Thoughts. Arguments over this become an autistic game of verbal ping pong where users just endlessly go back and forth with different claims, statistics, and historians and there’s just no consensus or interesting discoveries made.
