They'll keep doing it while the right sits on their asses and cries "imagine if le sides were reversed :("
What do you want me to do faggot? Incite a race war? Yeah that's a great idea, let me just become the strawman you claim I am in order to justify all your authoritarian bullshit. Let me just give you a reason to take my guns away, a reason to take my freedom of speech and assembly away. You want me to write my congressman and tell him to... what? They're getting deported, finally. The border is getting secured, finally. Laws are being enforced, finally. What the fuck more do you want? This is not a rhetorical question, tell me what the right is supposed to be doing that it isn't already.

We literally had a recession under Joepedo, to the point they had to lie and change what a recession meant because nu-uh, Joepedo can do no wrong.
Bull, we did not have a recession, we are(were) in a depression. Now part of it is Trumps fault cause the Covid response was started under him, but the Biden admins actions made it far worse.

The only reason we dont recognize it as a depression is because American Society is so affluent and has become so productive that even in a depression things are comfortable.

Claims online are that he had pamphlets that directly praised Hamas. The rationale is that non-American can’t be distributing propaganda for a Terrorist Organization. I have no idea if that’s fact.
There's also claims that he works for the Hamas-controlled UNRWA.

Regardless, he's a foreign agitator on American soil who's only goal is to cause dissent and chaos. Fuck him, and I hope rumors of his faggotry get back to Hamas so they throw him off a rooftop.

Sell me on why it is okay to detain that grad student for the Hamas protests? Did he actually do anything... detain-worthy?

I have no solid opinion on the issue.
I can't. Irrespective of who this kid is, was, or might be, it's stupid as fuck for the GOP, during the previous administration, to go all suppression of dissent against Israel and appear to be pledging greater fealty to a country on the other side of the globe than to our own.

Trump is not doing himself any favours by making sure the Adelson widder woman gets every dime's worth of her nine-figure contributions by being hypocritical on free speech when it comes to (((them))) when he has first-hand experience at being censored.

Don't argue with burger boy, he just wants to be miserable

The reason our current economic situation doesn't resemble the last Depression is because we have safety nets now that didn't exist then preventing people from starving to death in the streets and the gov't greatly expanded their ability to print money out of thin air to pay for it. That works until it doesn't.

Reddit's new conspiracy theory is about Trump declaring martial law on Hitler's birthday

Answer: So when Trump took office on January 20th, one of the first executive orders he made was the "Declaring A National Emergency At The Southern Border of the United States", which he declared:
"A national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States...I hereby declare that this national emergency requires use of the Armed Forces..."
Essentially, in the order, he directs the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security to submit a Joint Report to the President about whether he should invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 within 90 days.
Typically, the military cannot be used against US citizens ,even acting as police, due to the Posse Comitatus act of 1878.
The insurrection act of 1807, however, gives the president emergency powers to use the military against citizens during times of civil disorder, insurrection, or rebellion.
January 20 2025 + 90 days = April 20, 2025

Uber has waitlists lmfao, I used to do it back pre-covid and it was an okay gig. Didn't make shit but it kept me alive so idfk

I don't know man, maybe I just need to get the paper Jew (Bachelor's Degree) just so I can *still* end up looking for a shitty job lol.

If you're willing to learn, almost any major trucking company in the US will pay you to take their classes and get your CDL in exchange for working for them for at least a year minimum, usually. Granted, the classes are usually just busy work and you probably won't start really picking up stuff until you ride along with a trainer and get hands-on experience, but the logistics industry ALWAYS needs drivers and the pay can be pretty good if you pursue higher paying opportunities.

Possible, i just think the world is so radically different from the 1930s that a depression looks different

the best thing society ever did was hand over the fake money reserve to the robots to bet and gamble against each other with. what the fuck were they THINKING?

A human can never react as fast as a robot can. They also cannot pull in all the live financial data 24x7 like an AI will be able to. This was inevitable.

Just wait until the newsrooms start doing the same thing. An LLM agent constantly reading all the news feeds like PRN, Business Wire, AP, Reuters, etc 24x7 and displaying breaking news. They could even code it such that it watches out for stuff that's, say, embarrassing for the Trump admin, or for topics they will need to countersignal, and make suggestions based on that.
