Troonslop "Retro" Games / Demake games / PS1 Trannies / ULTRAKILL / Y2K trannies - Retro gaming is infected

I agree. And for me, I like Hatred more than Postal 2. I own both of them, but Postal 2 feels too dated and clunky.

Hatred is much better if you use the "Hatred 1.666" mod by Igoreso and Vergil. This guy had balls to add things that the devs couldn't have added like a school (with children) and a prision level. Top edgy stuff, I don't even know how it's still available at Steam Workshop.

Also at the ending slides, them added "transgenders are mentally ill" as a credits mensage.
The comments section is hilarious. I recommend you read it for yourselves.

Say hello to the indie series Super Freaks, an entry under the fame of SAGE (Sonic Amateur Games Expo) with a style that’s supposed to be similar to those old simple computer games that were released in the early PC games era. Since its wacky and colorful style, decor, and characters with simple designs, it has attracted an obscure echo-chamber of fans mainly compromised of the dev’s friends.
IMG_2618.jpeg

Meet SuperFreaksDev, the main dev and co-creator with the other being the inactive KingNormal. The former has been developing games under the Super Freak umbrella since 2005. His current games under his series rebranding consist of:

-Super Freaks 1 Ultimate Edition, a retro platformer that the dev insists on repeatedly bloating with barebones content instead of saving those additions for his numerous other projects that are in need of progress if he wants to get them finished.

-Super Freaks Arcade, similar to the game above but formatted in a classic arcade format.

-Strato-Scruffy, a shoot-em-up with a regressed art style akin to the serie’s simpler days which took a whopping total of 14 YEARS to get it out the door.

-Strato Freaks 2, looking like an improvement over the formula but it’s only in the Demo phase.

-Scruffy Minus, another platformer somehow with an even more regressed artstyle that looks like an autist’s MSPaint fever dream. Another WIP demo.

-Super Freaks Classic Pack, it’s just a combination of his older games when he was a child developing games for the first time.

if he isn’t making games, he’s making childish comments within a comment section, blatantly copying memes but replacing the characters with his own on sprite comic websites, or saying inside jokes between him and his friends. if you take a look at his NeoCities website, his lore for his imaginary characters goes at spergy enough lengths for a platformer with a barely existent plot to give the average viewer a raised eyebrow at the sheer ‘tism.

According to himself, he was 12 years old when he made the OG version of Super Freaks 1, originally known as The Search for Tikiman, which was in 2006. minus 25 from 06 and you get 19. do the maths and SuperFreaksDev is approximately 31 Years old developing games that look like a child’s MSPaint drawing.

Every so often, he does a “Freakjam” with his online buddies for what they consider to be the “Super Freaks Cinematic Universe (oh my heckin marvelinos)” where they share their super freak themed projects with each other (even though a lot of these people have their own projects and characters going on, all the jam games solely contain exclusively SuperFreaksDev’s property, for some reason.)

like always with these groups, troons run amok, and SuperFreaksDev being the stunning ally has opened the gates wide for them to run in and shit everything up, from adding their tranny OCs into his games, to being enough of a limpdick cuck to allow them to retcon his own characters to be trannies themselves. Let’s take a brief look at his associates.

^pre-troonout character

-QueenDelta/EngineerKappa, artist and game dev under the fame of B.U.D.D., a demo project.

-Arietty, developer of Prototype N, another Demo, but has a finished Halloween side story that costs money despite the main game being a WIP. Has a troon oc that immediately clocks itself with its trans flag socks.

-Null3D, the most obnoxious one about his stinkditch. creator of Tacti-Cat, yet another demo project. also made a blatant Celeste ripoff that makes one of the Super Freak characters a genderspecial.

-Miles Games, lead dev of Slay Bells and Pinky Bash, the former being a demo and the latter only has a VrChat world to its name.

-PhilRaco, not a tranny surprisingly, but is currently being held hostage by SuperFreaksDev to remake the already existing OST of one of his games. Also working on ‘Round the Mind, a beta/prototype, not sure if this counts as a demo.

-defnotreal_, another non tranny, seems the most tame out of them and is working on Mr. Shootem Breaks Out!, to nobody’s surprise, is a demo. Seems to be a recurring theme with these folks.

All that’s missing is the looming threat of SuperFreaksDev trooning out and he’ll be perfect to be considered a true and honest indie dev amongst his peers. A shame, as I genuinely did get some joy out of the Ultimate Edition 1.0 before shit hit the fan.

i think i played one of the "freakjam" games before, i believe it was a pac man world clone. had no idea what was going on and dropped it not long after.
i'm stunned you could be making shit for so long and just never improve even your art skills, bogosoft has been making games about his characters for a long ass time now and improving more and more each time up to the point of releasing corn kidz 64. reminds me a lot of how :) has been drawing sonichu for so long in almost the exact same crude way
just goes to show it's not about spending more time but the desire to learn and improve. might explain why he lets himself get whipped by troons, zero spine

Didn't even know this game had mods, comments are fucking nuts nigga. I rarely ever see comments like these, then again I rarely see mods like these. It looks like it's hidden from the workshop on my end so maybe that's why it's still up.

Honest to god, why are most of these dogshit games pumped out by them so uninspired? I can cook up some if not the most high quality ideas by sitting around and thinking.
Not to powerlevel here, but as someone who's been around these types of people before (and discussions I've had with people who also interact with the sphere of indie game development), a LOT of these indie game developers suffer from the Dunning Kruger Effect. Where their skillset can be very impressive at times, they often think way too highly of themselves and end up creating media that's genuinely fucking dogshit, or mediocre at best. For example, they can be an excellent programmer, but not a good game designer. Or they can be a good 3D modeler, but they don't really understand how to properly optimize their models for a 3D game engine. Rarely do they ever achieve success or even create something worthwhile (with the only notable game I can think of being ULTRAKILL).

Another major contribution to this would be the lack of a genuine understanding for the media they consume. This is usually fine in a vacuum, but the issue is that they treat the consumption of said media as a status symbol. And because of this, they have this innate desire to prove that they truly love what they consume. Like a purity test. And because they don't really understand what makes something good, they just simply create something that's inherently inferior. Not only that, but they also fall for the "solo developer" meme. Where they think that it's a good idea to be alone as an indie developer, instead of trying to branch out and create a small team w/ people who can cover your weak spots. It's the stupidest thing you can do as a developer.

TL;DR: They're autistic, and they think too highly of themselves to admit that they don't know everything.

Killing CEOs is starting to become trannycore with all the troons making it not cool anymore. Quick! We need a game where we are on the side of a CEO and simulate breaking a strike with kino af physics mechanics when you control a Pinkerton agent slamming a baton against a troon-worker's skull!
How quickly they latch onto something and turn it into a boring trend needs to be studied. As stated before in this thread it's not the fact that they go "fuck capitalism" that annoys people it's the exact same way they say the exact same thing. Nobody would have a problem if they picked different targets every once in a while but they pick the same acceptable by the masses targets and you can't help but to roll your eyes at it.
I feel like that's its own psy-op.
>People support bludgeoning the elite
>Have troons support this idea with pure cringe
>People don't want to be associated with troons so they slowly stop talking about it

Reminds me of what happened with planking. Everyone was doing it, then some old guy or whatever did it, it was hyper cringe, the fad died...I'm simplifying the hell out of it but you get the idea.
Got a lot to say but this is actually an interesting take since if you notice how they talk about most things they speak of them as if they're trends/the popular and accepted thing to do or be into. Rather than actually having something to say it's "eat the rich" because that's what their peers think and what they're pressured into caring about. It's also like many have said very easy things to rally behind or call out because they're relatively "faceless" targets. These are the types that really think their voices are not only heard but accounted for but the reality is they're treated as part of the pipeline. Most of these companies ironically see them they same way they see these movements as if they are trends that can be easily taken care of.

Obviously there's a lot of factors that go into why we are even here with threads like this where we see a suspicious amount of the same thing to the point where more people notice these patterns and document them accordingly but it's that last part that is the most interesting. How when you see these more SJW/trans/left leaning types hop onto something that is not only viewed as a trend but in most ways (again like the point of the thread) they make it a trend. The whole aesthetic of the games and whatever pieces of media are done because it's trendy and recognizable but like most things that are co-opted under the surface it's vapid.

Made the mistake of giving ultrakill a chance once and spent 10 minutes scouring for a texture filtering setting, as the graphics were legitimately hurting my eyes. Turns out the game purposely has no option, and the only time there ever was such an option was for an april fools "joke." at least there's buttplug support, though.

Apparently you need to fucking mod it in to not cut your eyes on them sharp pixels.
The modding life support disease is real. Modding was a massive mistake.

Me when a left-wing basement dweller posts "eat the rich" or a meme with Luigi Mangione:
🙄🥱🤦‍♂️ Yeah, I've heard that a hundred times already, shut up, we all know you ain't gonna do jack shit.

Me when a right-wing basement dweller posts an ack-ing troonjak or the TND copypasta:
🤩👏👍 Whoa, so true! So based!

It's supposed to mimic PS1 visuals so there's no filtering, personally I think almost every game looks awful with blurred textures.
The april fools joke was making fun of the default gzdoom settings because it looks like shit, but I guess having the option would make sense given that they went through the effort of coding it in the first place

Almost everything I've seen you post is both gay and gives me a headache.
Confused the shit out of me when I saw a reply to a post I made on a post you made before mine...now I probably confused someone else with what the fuck I just wrote.
Modding was a massive mistake.
Modding is fine, it's the problem with letting and even celebrating retards for their dogshit mods. Quality mods bring life to games (life support or not) and heavily outweigh the (bad) autism that plagues its modding scene, for anyone not terminally online at least.

is this not enough to consider implementing an actual texture filtering mode, or are the devs afraid of harming their already nonexistent ps1 aesthetic?
something similar, found a reddit post asking why the game has no anti aliasing options.

to nobody's surprise, most responses would rather make fun of the op rather than suggest solutions. also, you're telling me the game looks like shit because of lore?

Yep, essentially the game looks like this because the blood powered, humanity destroying super killer robot(s) that defies physics doesn't have enough "dedotated wam" to render the world as it actually is or some shit.
1741882535787.jpeg
Most machines will only render a simplified approximation of their visual surroundings for faster processing speed, but Sentries use full renders instead, giving them perfect accuracy even over extremely long distances.
...you'd think it would take less processing speed to render the world as is rather than reprocess the world in PS1 graphics before displaying it. Most retarded excuse for having low poly graphics in a game I've ever heard. Just say "it's easier" and call it day you fucking mongoloids.

I know what you're getting at but i am pretty sure i've expressed I like neither (personally). Equally stupid.

Generally with games that are dependent on mods (Terraria as a random example) it's easier to weed out the bad as some of the mods are just QoL stuff that makes the games a little easier. You got games like Skyrim that work overtime as being not only 'life support' for the game but generally fix a lot of Bethesda's default bad game design features.

Sadly no matter how much you mod that game, it's still Skyrim. And the jank and poor decisions of that game tends to spring up no matter what you do, mods do make it easier to deal with.
