Magic The Gathering

Okay i see it now.

Wheel is okay for runic, it does restore her resources. I dunno why she has a reanimation focused effect though...or why she is Mardu...i am guessing that the Empire is all Mardu.
Reason is she was designed to be in the bitch seat for Terra's deck. I'd say she's the "alternate commander" but unless the deck is filled with redundant Sevinne's Reclamation effects that you shouldn't need when Terra's in the command zone it's not going to work.

"Blah Blah Universes Beyond dumb"
I've said it before in this very thread but I don't think UB is the worst thing that's happened to magic, I was just surprised they didn't make spengbab into some sort of azorius tap your shit abomination because blowing bubbles or some such garbage. Agree with the rest of your post though, if I see a spongebob or gary card I know that I have to focus the shit out of them, not because I hate UB but because they're playing objectively strong magic cards and I pride myself on my threat assessment.

How do you guys feel that it's confirmed all UB sets will cost more than a regular set?
I'm sure it's going to be a great cash injection in the short run and if WotC is carrying hasbro as a whole they might be retarded and chase the money even more (and ruin the golden goose faster than they or us intend), as far as I understand it, they're charging a very small "premium" but demand is skyrocketing everything else because preorders are sold out everywhere, even my card shop owner friends are telling me they're fearing they won't be able to actually get any inventory at the distributor level because shit has been that high demand.

Additionally I can also independently report that tarkir is fucking DOA, post have gone up on our tcg groups asking people to please sign up for prerelease and they're getting laugh emojis in response, this groups up stores from all over my third world shithole country, I might show up to a pre if I have 30$ to spare just to support my friend's store but I really have no interest in the silly goofy dragon set and neither does anyone else lmao.

ngl I kinda want a playset of the counterspell, honestly, the spells being memes are great. The haze one made me chuckle a lot too.

Fuck they could have made SpongeBob Urza, Lord High Artificer and the Construct token Bubble Buddy. It would be just as toxic as Jodah or Toxarill.
Jodah the Unifier is worse than Urza, Urzas big trick is winter orb shit and thats like one card.

Jodah is like "Oh i cast one spell and now i have 30 power on the field"

I gues everyone is FOMO-ing for the FF set so i gues theyll be dry by the time tarkir releases? I can see the set being appealing for dragon players in EDH. Personally im not interested but i like Alesha, ill probably pick up singles related to her, if she appears in any way in the set.

Alesha is dead, but they did show one card so far relating to her called Smile at Death.
Shocked to see someone say they are a fan of the first tranny MTG character on this site though.

Im aware shes a tranny, but i like the card and it has won me enough games that i address her as she cause she earned it.

Finished a few of the Tarkir Stories.

Can fully confirm that the dragonlords were overthown and killed offscreen. Apparently Narset found some super duper ritual that summoned spirit dragons to shove the dragonlords back into the dragonstorms.

That would have been a hell of a story to see instead of being told about it.

Probably not, aside from the spirit dragons all the big ones are dead.

Magic now...

Tiny leaders has started to take off in my community. So far I've enjoyed it and deck building has been fun. Any of your have any experience tiny leaders? How was it? Right now I'm running a blue/white merfolk deck and it's been playing pretty well. I might even play it in an up coming tournament. Which I haven't attended one in years.

I played Tiny Leaders when it first got big maybe...eight years ago? That sounds about right. I found the format to be shallow and easily solved if you were trying to play it at all seriously, but maybe the expansion of the card pool since then has improved things.

What's their current banned list? Is Lurrus allowed as a companion?

Story group, you had ONE JOB...

That's retarded. The resurgence of the Khanates and the fall of the Dragonlords would have made a great two part story, but instead they just skipped past the actual revolution for a story about... what, exactly? Is there any kind of explanation given for the wedge dragons now? (Also, shame on them for not taking the opportunity to call back the Planar Chaos wedgies, or even the Apocalypse prefixes)

Also, if you had to kill the dragonlords off-screen, why not use the Phyrexian invasion?
