Phil being stuck as a middle manager in a nightmarish retail Job at Best buy or Kroger is so fucking accurate dude. I used to work retail and I had managers that were easily as stupid as him. If Phil hadn't hit it big on Youtube he'd either be unemployed living with his parents back in Bridgeport or working as a manager at Best buy into his 50s.

One of my favorite things about Phil is how his begging like a homeless crackhead is such a core component of his streams that when he doesn’t do it for even just one day, it’s so jarring and weird that everyone assumes he must have been diagnosed with cancer or he’s being served with divorce papers or some shit

There is no way others' misfortune would cause mighty Phil Burnell to stop begging and hitting those goals. Kat's sick? He'd milk this shit dry. Unless it is something that makes him look bad somehow. Like Kat being pregnant and him being aware that the two never had sex in the last several years.

If it's not just taxes I think Ashton has all but told him their future collaborations are on the chopping block if phil doesn't start trying to live up to his end and let Kino Casino give him a makeover.

A lot of amusing things came out during the last grill phil segment that made an even bigger mockery of phil but the one that really spoke volumes to me is when Ashton told him that he finds just talking to him and trying to get him to engage exhausting. Phil played it off like some kind of joke as usual because he can't take anything seriously and this is what happens when you isolate yourself for years and think you have nothing to learn from the people around you.

I think he's been trying to help phil break out of his shell behind da scenes and is probably close to cutting him loose since trying to get him to take any advice is like ramming your head against a brick wall.

We've heard some of the advice on the streams and I'd wager behind da scenes he's been trying to encourage phil to stop taking himself and his imaginary belief system so seriously and fire back at him to develop some backbone. Phil's excuse for never clapping back at any of the PPP felting is he doesn't know anything about the guy's history. Phil.. you read these forums we all know you do. Read the Kino Casino thread instead of your own for a change you self-obsessed faggit or start with the low hanging fruit that Ashton is quite clearly a fat tranny and take it from there.

We all know you've given Casino the delusional I've totally changed and my khantent is better than ever pre-stream spin. They've seen right through it because you're the only one who ever believed it and now you're afraid of losing the closest thing to a friend you've had in nearly 20 years.

Less begging seems like a good place to start but you're going to have to fill the endless hours of dead air in its absence with something. I recommend trying to actually enjoy videogames again because that's something else you haven't had in your life in years either.

I agree with you it must have been PPP that got him to not beg with some kind of ultimatum where he has to choose between begging and smack guys.

If there's one thing I know about the mighty ship Phillip Paul Burnell, it's that he's not just stuck in his ways, he stays the course until acted upon by outside forces. I can't say what it might be or who it might involve (my money is on Triple P), but someone told him to get his shit together and not be so fucking blatant with the begging, especially with how he just did his gay marathon and how much it brought in. What I'd like to think, is his tax accountant/attorney/whatever told him that he can't do all the smooth shit to help cut down on taxes, and if he doesn't fucking cool it with the begging, Phil's gonna be in an entirely higher tax bracket, one that he definitely did not set money aside for. Do I honestly think it's that, no, but I'd like to believe that a professional had to tell Phil to fucking cool it, and gave him a good reason with lots of zeroes at the end of it.

Could this be a soft transition to $1800/week? So rather than wiping anything in excess of a goal, he begs relative to the progress toward $1800 and where we are in the week. This week, with how many days he has left and making $1000 yesterday, he’ll beg very little at least today and tomorrow.

I buy your theory about PPP telling him to cut begging but I think your closing sentence is the most pivotal one. If DSP doesn't turbo beg as usual tomorrow then we'll really know something is up.

There's a lot of good points thrown around about today's stream, but I think it's much simpler than people think. This is just his autistic way of decompressing from everything going on. Phil's only interaction with the world up until Side Scrollers has been through his streams; naturally, they have become his "safe space". When not even WWEC helps, there's no other place to go.

It's pretty clear that Phil's been stressed by something as of late, the unhinged segments and begging is off the charts, even for Phil. The razzing on Kino might've been the breaking point for him, which led him to send that weird message in their chat. As the saying goes, the Kino Giveth and the Kino Taketh Away.

Of course worked like a charm on Phil. He spent like $30+ on a single turtle skin and the event battle pass and played more cod today than he has in months.

A Theo Theory if you will: as @NothingICanDo said maybe Youtube s actually watcing him now. My reason to think it might be a case? Content creators can get a Community warning if you violate Youtube rules. I had one last year for a movie Clip that showed a naked Person and I didn't bother to censor it. Funny is that Clip was almost a year old at that Point and they only cared now. Anyways I got a Community Guideline WARNING and had to go through a YouTube Guideline "Seminar" (in reality just a few Texts and then later a short questionaire About what is allowed and whatnot) to try to get it removed. They denied my appeal (big shock) and put my channel on a warning status. This lasted 90 days (has since expired). Here is the kicker: if I had been found for more "violations" in that timeframe I would have gotten a Community Guideline strike, and even 1 strike is harsh. You loose the ability to stream, upload Videos and even upload stories (whatever that is) for 1 week. And if you get 3 Guideline strikes within 90 days your channel is gone. So maybe, just Maybe, he is currently under "Probation" so to speak. Of couse could be anything at this point but this 180 shift? Very suspicious. Or he is trying to troll the trolls by not giving us food.

I don't think YouTube cares about him enough to specifically give him a warning like that. But maybe Kick has taken issue with him? (seems unlikely still because they've been featuring him recently)

Otherwise it could be that OIC/whoever has emailed him and said they're actually done with his shit. That wouldn't explain why he stopped turbo begging though.

To quantify this theory a little. PPP retweeted DSP on February 12th about one of his streams:


In the month that has passed since then he has only retweeted stuff making fun of DSP basically, but all of a sudden he retweets a DSP stream announcement tweet out of nowhere:


I think PPP is putting the pressure on DSP or something like DSP told him he won't have enough money to pay his taxes and needs to do events etc and PPP lost his shit.

I have created this account just to share a theory i have not seen anywhere , what if one the whale's family (oic?) contacted phil and sued him for taking advantage of mentaly ill people . I mean any normal streamer would put a stop to someone donating hundred of thousands of dollars over multiple years or at least try to understand the situation . In phil's case we know he email those whales and push them to keep donating .
And that would explain why he stopped to beg to appear as if he was a normal streamer not asking for money .

i think ppp or youtube shit is the most likely. kat is a barely sentient blob, she'll only leave if the free food stops flowing, and we all know that phil is too much of a pussy to cut her off. excessive begging isn't against tos though, so probably ppp doing some gay shit beehindaseens. he delayed the wrestling podcast again, my best guess is that ppp told him to fuck off and phil is delaying it to save face and/or have more time to spam his dms and convince him to do it. either way 2 whole streams without begging is an earth-shattering event in the snortex, I'm sure we'll be speculating about this for years to come.
