She wasn't a good streamer, but she had potential. For one, she enjoyed gaming and that shines through. Second, she didnt spend her stream begging, belching snd being a dick to her audience. She is a better streamer than Phil.

i think ppp or youtube shit is the most likely. kat is a barely sentient blob, she'll only leave if the free food stops flowing, and we all know that phil is too much of a pussy to cut her off. excessive begging isn't against tos though, so probably ppp doing some gay shit beehindaseens. he delayed the wrestling podcast again, my best guess is that ppp told him to fuck off and phil is delaying it to save face and/or have more time to spam his dms and convince him to do it. either way 2 whole streams without begging is an earth-shattering event in the snortex, I'm sure we'll be speculating about this for years to come.

I wonder if kick might be it. That girl is a kick stream (KCIP as well) and Phil kept calling her sexist/homophobic things and kick might gave him a warning. Kick has this thing where they don’t really like other streamers to fight with each other. I guess Phil and maybe PPP (he called her a lesbo) might gotten a talking to by kick admins.

My read on this is a lot of the "Phil pignotized Kat to be afraid of the trolls so she became a hermit like him" comes from the fact that it was kind of a complete 180 for someone who was pretty open to being in the public sphere and was comfortable streaming and dressing up as an owl become reduced to an invisible fat horse described as an inept retard who can't help but break shit around the house and watches the washer finish the wash and dry cycle.

Occam's razor. He was hungover and feeling lazy and didn't want to do a 2 hour pre-stream rant. He didn't really care about how much money he made for one stream because he just cleared $1200. He just wanted to turn on the stream and zone out while playing CoD.

He didn't beg to prove some autistic point that he HAS to beg or he will miss his goals. He didn't freak out about missing his goals because by missing both, he's authorized to beg 50+ times per stream forever.

I feel like this really is the most likely scenario.

We'll find out later today but you are forgetting that he has been drumming up "behind the scenes" issues recently too. So it is hard to see the lack of prestream and lack of begging as just an isolated event.

Honestly it's not the fact that the begging was brought down to an absolute minimum that weirded me out, he's done those "best behavior" streams in the past, it's the combination of "best behavior" + no copecast + gameplay starting within 15 minutes of the stream starting that has my mind spinning in circles.

Nothing counts towards the next day, nothing even counts towards the other stream in that very same day. All the money just sinks into a vortex where it's gone forever and DSP loses all memory of it, unless it's a goal they didn't hit.

I don't think he considers the prestream money and the stream money the same thing even.

The fucktard spent most of his KC earnings on upgrades and 200$ webcams and whatnot. He also spends on the usual WWEC whaling, more booze and his regular bills so I wouldn't be surprised if he has no money left for the extra taxes he will owe to IRS. As others pointed out, phat Khet is too retarded to divorce him (she has free doordash and place to stay), and pigroach wants to LARP as a married man so he won't divorce. If there was serious illness they would have to do a lot of medical tests, followups and treatements but pigroach isn't missing streams (even when hung over) so it's probably not that either. Someone who had to declare bankrupcy with 13 maxed out credit cards, you think he is careful with money?

Those Twitch sponsored bounty streams were fucking insane to watch from a detractor perspective. He was on his best behavior and was involved in the shitty story of the game and asking questions wondering about the future of the game and how they would tackle different potential gameplay elements all while not snorting or begging while being uber positive about a terrible fucking game.

100% YouTube doesn't give a shit about him. Maybe 5 or 10 years ago when MCNs and shit were a big deal and people had partnership managers and shit. But I had a look at iJustine (someone mentioned the infamous gangbang tweet DSP made about her years ago) and she has 7m subscribers and only gets like 25-100k views per video. The old days when these "major YouTubers" could pull weight at YouTube are gone, there are millions of people just like iJustine and DSP and people here don't see how big YouTube is internationally - there are Spanish and Indian and whatever other country "influencers" just like DSP/iJustine you can think of.
(I only mentioned iJustine as a point of reference, I don't think she has been involved in any drama or relevant in years)

The amount he spent on livestreaming setup shit was next to nothing btw, maybe 5-6k at most. And that sounds like a lot but keep in mind how much he actually makes and how many years he hasn't spent shit on his setup.

I'm placing my bet on: got an email from his accountant and is currently fucked for tax money that he has to pay. He's going to have to do a begathon or whatever and knows he is fucked because he did a branding change and the hardcore dents all left and anyone left is going to ask where the fuck all da money went.
