NAL nor medical coordinator, but afaik since Mamachu was injured in a tragic crime, and she becomes even more unable to care for herself (whether it be permanent damage or whatever) and Tophiachu cannot take guardianship then Mamachu may be ordered to a nursing home. Typically from what I've read it seems that it is a last resort option by courts as they would rather have in-home care, but that isn't happening for sure. No one can forcibly be admitted to a nursing home, and even then too they are more than likely overcrowded as space only really opens once the resident dies and there's a waiting list. I don't hate Mamachu or think she deserves all this even though she's an enabler, she's going to defend her children because that's just what most parents do. (doesn't excuse shitty parenting though) I do hope she pulls through because losing two family members to a crime, I couldn't imagine the mental anguish that would impart on me let alone the constant emotional shifting from the trauma. That's all I could really gather personal thoughts aside.
