What’s saddest of all is that the parents/family members/friends aren’t even being malicious when they can’t bring themselves to fully see/accept the new identity that the troon wants to be seen as- it’s simply that the troon is demanding the impossible, and the people around them can’t mentally accommodate it, no matter how much they might even want to.

I love shit like this (though it does infuriate me at the same time). Has there EVER been an instance where a company/organization decided to take a chance on a troon without it ending disastrously?? BMI is a tool. You can be below or above and be perfectly slim and normal, depending on bone structure and muscle mass. A girl can be BMI 17.5 and be totally healthy, just that whippet build. Most Japanese and Asians are much smaller built than westerners. A tall solid Dutch girl who works out may be slender but weigh a lot more . Or she can be BMI 25 and also be slim but just have some muscle. Ditto men, plenty of men with muscle who’ve worked physical jobs will have dense bones and muscle and be over the overweight range.
The death fats go on about BMI being meaningless when they have BMIs of almost a hundred and nobody with a BMI of forty plus is slim, so there’s a limit to saying BMI isn’t the be all and end all, for sure
If you’re a straight size, fit, healthy, and you can see a couple of ribs then you’re most likely grand. Losing periods, developing lanugo, or losing hair etc means you’re not healthy. BMI is a tool - it needs to be used with mark 1.0 Eyeball to be meaningful, bit it’s not a bad general tool for most people
