In all seriousness, there are some really good Belgian Comics/Bande dessinée.
He is right that French Sci-fi is great in particular with The Incal, Metabarons, Nikopol, etc.

But I have a feeling RazorFist’s excessive glazing over it is one giant cope in the face of people going to Manga over American Comics.
Given he already hates the state of modern American Comics (which in all fairness, DC/Marvel are quite shite now), & is butthurt that Japanese media exists for strange reasons.

It's shit like that which makes people check out of the capeshit genre. So many realities, dimensions, character assassinations, it kills the appeal of what should be simple stories of men in capes kicking down bad guys, which then leads to apathy and people moving on. There's a reason why One Piece is crushing it while Batman and Spider-Man are yesterday's news.

Danny-boy rarely talks about the actual weaknesses of the capeshit genre. It was already slowly fading before the SJWs sauntered in; they kept repetitive stories made for quick, moneymaking schemes instead of having a logical story outline with a beginning, middle, and end. And people wonder why folks abandoned this stuff for manga and anime, where you typically have a linear story with a beginning, middle, and end for each show or comic.

The 08th MS Team. I liked how grounded the EZ8 is with all the battle damage and weaponry suited for Earth-based battles. The movies show another perspective of the war that’s outside of space and that both representatives of each side of the war can co-exist. 08th MS Team is wonderful. I'd also recommend 0083 Stardust Memory and War in the Pocket. Both have the same wonderful animation that 08th MS Team had, and they extend the story during and after the One-Year War. But knowing Razor, he'd just call it shite and bitch about how the Gundams are too fast to be "realistic mecha".

Especially since one of them is a Gundam that carries a nuke, which gets hijacked by a bunch of military renegades. That would likely remind Razorfist of Kojima and how Thief got BTFO'd by Metal Gear Solid in the stealth game scene.
