The whole h3 debacle was almost the last drop for me when it comes to feeling bad for this loser but I can't help it. All it takes is seeing how happy and successful he used to be and how miserable and unlike himself he looks now. They won't get divorced, but imagine they do and he's still covered in tattoos that she convinced him to get and the internet is full of detailed takedowns of his life-ruining choices and reminders of how good he had it. Shit's depressing. He couldn't even look in the mirror without remembering how badly he fucked up.
Many people itt say that the only thing Anisa did was unmask him, and it's partially true, but I think they understimate how drastically a partner can change you. Flaws like pettiness, stubbornness and being a lame autist who can't take a joke have always been there, but I doubt the old Ian would have gotten tangled in a venture like Creator Clash to this level, or gambled with charity money at all, not because he was a saint, but because he was too sensible to take that risk. When he was just starting out he was saving every youtube penny, he's always been frugal and openly against spending money on dumb shit, he never exposed any details about his personal life or whined to his fans, he was a cautious guy, to the point it drove people like Keemstar crazy because they had nothing on him.
I also suspect he didn't buy that Anisa really liked him at first, seeing how in one of his few appearances on her Twitch channel back in 2016, he told chat to not donate just because he was there since no money would go to him (which prompted Anisa to say "You have to lie to them so I can get the money!"). Looks to me like he was sort of shit-testing her to see if she stayed with him despite being unable to profit off his fame. A far cry from the zombified "yes honey" retard we have today.
Remember when Anisa complained to her discord server that Ian only cared about being Idubbbz? He really should've stayed that way. That level of self-awareness and wariness could have prevented him from making dumb moves like the Onlyfans video, or even marrying Anisa. She said that hate from fans almost made them break up many times, which could be a lie but maybe if we had been a little louder Alas.
