The vibe I'm getting is that the Magistrate is sick and fucking tired of all this, and even though it's his own damn fault he's going to be ripping both Greer and Hardin new cornchutes.

Disposing of all these motions in one omnibussy is one of the few sane things this judge has done so far, so I am going to withhold judgment and complaints and see what happens.

This may actually be a return to sanity. Shower me with rainbows.

I believe the payment is implicitly delayed until the hearing.
To be fair, Mr. Hardin requested either a stay or that particular date.
I wish the Magistrate had been explicit about this, because now he risks a retarded motion from Greer or a necessary one from Hardin to clarify on these points. He was already looking at and arranging the relevant delaying motions, he could have added a line of text to the order.

While it's good he's finally knocking out everything at once, it's tragic that we don't get a dozen more unhinged Greer filings to laugh at until then. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll finally file his demand for sanctions and pro hac vice revocation.

Get that suit dry-cleaned, it's time to go Omnibussin'

I'd lay even money that there will be more than a dozen docket entries added before the Zoom call; and half of that chance there'll be 12+ from Greer.

He likes to go silent and then do one huge motion, but when he feels angry he can go nuts. I think he's going to feel angry and threatened and release the hounds.

You can watch it on Zoom, and Mr. Hardin will probably buy transcripts like last time. Recording the Zoom call is illegal.
BTW, is that a court rule, or is it codified under U.S.C.?

Because if it's the latter, I might actually consider writing my Congress-creature about it at some point.

I am a big fan of the Federal judiciary being open. The 9th Circuit's YouTube channel is a fav of mine.

I'm sure if Jersh wins the case you'll get to see him do it. The darn judge was a kiwi farms stalker all along and instead of sentencing Null to extradimensional hyperdeath, awarding Russell $69 million and personally deleting Russell's thread, he was intentionally prolonging the litigation (that Russell brought) in order to waste the poor IFP plaintiff's time and resources.
In a way, Russ already has, because he's used the exhibit of a troll claiming kiwifarms has bribed the judges in all his cases to keep a skilled disabled paralegal down, and lots of people in this thread suspect Russ sent himself that email (though I think it shows too much self awareness)

2 months? *sigh* But I want funny now...

Oh well, in the grand scheme of this case, what's 2 more months? That's pocket change compared to the waits we've had so far.
Even if Russ ignores this case for the next 2 months, it's not like he's going to stop being Russ or doing Stupid Russ Things, which will be documented in his main thread.

the only one in this case who has fuck all else to do is Greer and he's never been in a hurry to move it to any sort of conclusion.
Au contrairé, he absolutely does want to hurry to a conclusion. That conclusion being Null gives him lots of money and removes every trace of him from the Farms.
Not sure how Russ will react, I'm leaning towards a flurry of emails to Hardin (which we won't find out about unless they end up as exhibits) and a Plights Motion in the next 7 days, then complete silence. He will start prepping for the hearing at 11.59pm on the night before Christmas.

Worry not. Greer is likely to file responses to several of Hardin's motions and possibly complaints to the district judge or even an appeal between now and the hearing date. I'm sure that you're asking yourself why Russ would do any of that, but I can assure you that it makes as much sense as anything else he's filed in this case.

As long as two months' wait may seem, I feel that it will be worth it if only to hear Greer explain to the judge how Hardin violated the protection order.

I'm predicting at least one more filing from Russ that insists Hardin violated the SPO before the zoom call.

I sure hope the judge has blocked off the entire rest of the business day for this hearing because Greer is going to have a LOT to say, and with his unfortunate facial hardships it's going to take longer than it would for a normal retard. But yes, the violation of the SPO is going to be the best part (plus watching the judge's face during).

I guess enough is in fact enough. Whatever happens, it's KINO that this happened at all. Now Russ has to EXPLAIN his retardation (through a screen) to the Judge, who's also going to be listening to Hardin, and not just in dockets. Kek.
It could completely change the case. Up until now Hardin had been cucked by not actually being able to argue in person. Now he can, and shit wont get glazed over by a judge reading the 500th docket entry in a row.
Before the first zoomhearing, I was saying the judge would have to tell Russ no. In fillings, he can choose to reply only to what he wants and ignore Russell's insanity, but when hearing arguments live, it becomes ludicrous to NOT stop Russ when he's saying insane shit which he can't really pretend he didn't just hear. Indeed, when Russ started whining about stalking and harassment, the judge, for the first time, had to tell Russ this is only a copyright case now, which led to Russ's next filing finally admitting that.

And when Hardin makes a good point based on law and sound reasoning, live, and then stops for the judge to respond, the judge can't really pretend he didn't hear that either and has to respond to what Hardin just said.
To summarize, the Magistrate is currently the one good to Mr. Hardin with the sanctions. The Magistrate wanted to consider all the damage Greer caused to Null, and the District Judge overruled him. Now, apparently, the Magistrate is saying that he doesn't give a shit what the District Court ruled, which if true, is good for Null.
It would be hilarious if Hardin successfully appeals to the lower judge!

I mean... yes? Hardin has always been at his strongest at in person meetings. Because emails and dockets are a homosexual way to handle a case that can be wrapped up in a few face to face meetings instead of years writing novels. Greer is fucked.
