Ah yes, Niero. He's definitely got cow potential. If he was more vocal on Twitter or someplace similar I guarantee he'd have a thread here. Niero being friends with Jed isn't surprising since he's a trust fund faggot from the Bay area. A lot of writers are (or were) friends of his that also lived in the San Fran area. Also I forgot that block thing until you mentioned it. It was hilarious how almost every top comment on the announcement of that feature was people saying Jed and his articles would be first on their block lists.

So he just reviewed River City Underground, a new sequel to a 20+ year old NES game. And he put race baiting bullshit in it like how he was happy that there was a "non-white" female character he could play as. Its caused a huge flame war in the disqus comments, I would archive but I don't know how to archive entire pages with their comment sections, I don't think you can with disqus, but it is hilarious. :story:

This guy was one of many assholes involved in the FE:Fates "Gay Conversion" controversy, wherein this asshole succeeded at lying about a scene in the game (claiming a comedy scene was a case of gay conversion therapy) and getting their buddies on Social Media to virtue signal the fuck out of it. Jed was one of the bigger names to push it, going so far as to cover the controversy on Destructoid and declare it legitimate in the face of all evidence. Nintendo quickly capitulated to avoid controversy, since the usual suspects had pretty big pull at the translator pit involved (Treehouse), as well as buddies in Nintendo of America (Alison Rapp, for instance). Despite claiming to not be calling for the scene's removal, he could not stop fapping over Nintendo's decision to remove the scene. Said incident is widely considered the reason that FE:Fates got further censorship down the line.

Jeddy's also known for this fucking idiocy on Destructoid, where he quoted a widely-discredited survey that was taken entirely over social media with no controls, no peer review, openly biased questions, and was such a clusterfuck that the original people who excreted it onto the internet fucking apologized for it. Jed continued to treat it like it was legitimate.

As for his involvement with the clique, I can sum everything up with one tweet:
