OP looks finished to me, Plus, Schizoid Wife could still edit stuff in later even after it gets moved anyway, Wouldn't want quality content such as this to stay in limbo now would we?
I'm genuinely considering asking for a move now and finishing the rest before he's unbanned.

While I am here, do we agree on moving him to ITG?

Aight I'll do it.

@Null is there something we should do for the thread to be moved over into lolcows/tough guys?
Sorry to bother you! I just remember you mentioning you often moved stuff yourself.

Beauty parlor because he's a pussy and a bitch.

Just kidding. About the beauty parlor part, not about Alex Hogendorp being a pussy bitch.

Now that I think of it, ITG would be a great place for the thread. Alex here has sure taken several pages out of the Sinseer / John Dimitriadis playbook in all of this with his constant obsession about the place, War declarations and enemies list.

Back in the day, John / Sinseer would make these funny rage videos in Fallout 76 seething about some random guy coming to his in game fort and proceed to scream in his mic "You see this guy right here! He's a fuckin piece of shit who's part of that Reddit troll community out to get me and he's exploiting, Hey you, You're friends with that hacker aren't you? I know you are! Report him now!" Alex does the same thing in his videos here but over DeviantART.

He's also incredibly to another ITG-type cow, emoboyfucker69 (who's thread I also wrote), even down to small details like being on the same medication.

I still think we should ask to move this to Lolcows as a Halal thread, since that would be the most accurate classification. (I think ITG is a fair back up option though)

If you are going to request to move it out now, make sure to remove the [WIP] from the title, as you won't be able to edit the title without mod assistance once it's out.

They're also both pedophiles obsessed with children, so there is that.

What's sadder is that Zoey probably has more testosterone than he does.

I think that ITG is a good pick because of things like the kill list and the fuck you videos, as well as how he also did part of that IP logging and the threats he made of suing users for the AI redigns of his OCs

And her skitzo word-salad isn't so painfully fake, unlike Alex who tries way too hard to be "le nonsensical schizobabbler".
In that sense he reminds me of that tranny Chijo, pretty sure I already talked about him here, who would also try way too hard to be edgy and le WEIRD AND FUNNY and ended up somehow being even more of a stereotypical troon whenever he tried.

The spiritual tranny attacks again. I dream of the day when he changes his name back to Ankaa

Some reasons in favor of either Halal in Lolcows or ITG:
  • Halal thread due to:
    • Getting exposed for dogshit OPsec.
    • Being a user of the forum before getting exposed.
    • Asking for staff permission to write this OP.
    • Disgusting and weird fetishes like other halals.
  • As an ITG thread:
    • Literally had his retard friend try to IP dox people (failed miserably).
    • Constantly makes call outs against the forum.
    • Literally compiles lists of his enemies.
    • Threatens to sue people and the site for mocking him/fixing his shitty art.
My vote is mainly with Halal but they're both strongly supported in my opinion.

Just post in the PG review thread and let a janny decide on which one, he fits both perfectly so there's no real point in arguing it.

29 Limb Loss Statistics, Facts & Demographics

Limb Loss Statistics That’ll Shock You

Limb loss is a devastating experience that can have a profound impact on a person’s life. Whether it’s due to injury, illness, or congenital conditions, losing a limb can be a traumatic event that requires significant physical and emotional adjustment. The following amputation statistics provide insight into the prevalence and impact of limb loss in the United States.

Prevalence of Limb Loss

1. Around 2.1 million people in the United States are living with limb loss, and that number is expected to double by 2050.

2. There are over 1 million limb amputations globally every year, one every 30 seconds.

3. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) predicts that current global prevalence of diabetes will increase from 285 million to 435 million by 2030, which will probably increase the number of amputations needed to be done each year.

4. 185,000 people have an amputation every year, which means 300 to 500 amputations are completed each day.

5. The most common causes of limb loss are vascular disease (54%) and trauma (45%).

6. The number of amputations due to vascular disease is expected to increase as the population ages and the prevalence of diabetes and other vascular conditions continues to rise.

7. Traumatic amputations are most often caused by motor vehicle accidents, followed by work-related accidents and accidents involving machinery.

Impact & Cost of Limb Loss

1. The cost of prosthetic limbs can range from $5,000 to $50,000 or more, depending on the type of limb and the complexity of the prosthetic.

2. Lifetime healthcare costs for people with limb loss is $509,275 compared to $361,200 for people without limb loss.

3. 1,558 military personnel lost a limb as a result of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

4. Insurance coverage for prosthetic limbs varies widely, with some insurance plans providing comprehensive coverage and others providing little or no coverage at all.

5. The emotional impact of limb loss can be significant, with 30% of people with limb loss experiencing depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

6. The loss of a limb can also have a significant impact on a person’s ability to work and earn a living, with many people experiencing reduced earning capacity and increased difficulty finding employment.

7. 85% of lower limb amputations are proceeded by a foot ulcer.

Demographic Factors

1. Men are more likely than women to experience limb loss, with men accounting for approximately 75% of all amputations.

2. African Americans are 4 times more likely than White Americans to have an amputation.

3. The prevalence of limb loss increases with age, with people over the age of 65 accounting for approximately 70% of all amputations.

Prosthetic Use

1. Approximately 1.7 million people in the United States use a prosthetic limb.

2. The most common type of prosthetic limb is a below-the-knee prosthesis, accounting for approximately 70% of all prosthetic limbs.

3. Upper-limb prostheses are less common, with only approximately 10% of prosthetic limbs being for the upper limb.

4. The use of prosthetic limbs is associated with improved mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Complications and Challenges

1. Complications associated with prosthetic use include skin irritation, discomfort, and difficulty adjusting to the prosthetic.

2. Many people experience “phantom limb” sensations, in which they feel as though their missing limb is still present.

3. The process of adjusting to a prosthetic limb can be lengthy and challenging, with many people requiring months or even years to fully adapt to their new limb.

Advances in Prosthetic Technology

1. Advances in prosthetic technology have led to the development of more advanced and sophisticated prosthetic limbs, including those with computerized components and advanced sensory feedback.

2. The use of 3D printing technology has made it possible to create customized prosthetic limbs at a lower cost than traditional manufacturing methods.

3. Researchers are exploring the use of brain-computer interfaces to allow people to control their prosthetic limbs using their thoughts.

Limb Regeneration

1. Researchers are studying the use of stem cells to regenerate damaged or lost limbs.

2. Some animals, such as salamanders, are capable of regenerating limbs naturally.

3. While limb regeneration is still in the experimental stages, it has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of limb loss in the future.

Support and Resources

1. There are a variety of support groups and resources available to people living with limb loss, including peer support groups, counseling services, and advocacy organizations.

2. Many organizations provide financial assistance and other resources to help people access prosthetic limbs and other necessary medical care.

3. The Amputee Coalition is a national organization that provides support and resources to people living with limb loss and their families.

Stigma and Stereotypes

1. People living with limb loss may experience stigma and discrimination, with some people assuming that they are unable to perform certain tasks or participate in certain activities.

2. It is important to challenge these stereotypes and recognize that people with limb loss are capable of living full and active lives.

Summary

In conclusion, limb loss is a significant and complex issue that affects millions of people in the United States. While the experience of limb loss can be traumatic and challenging, advances in prosthetic technology and other treatments offer hope for the future.

By raising awareness of the impact of limb loss and providing support and resources to those affected, we can help ensure that people living with limb loss are able to live full and fulfilling lives.

Traci L Myers says:

I care for a man who lost his lower left leg at 34 from a motorcycle accident. Caring for him has been very challenging. Depression is under rated. 30 percent is not believable to me. I would say 100 percent in the early stages. (The first few years.)

I love my boyfriend with all my heart. It’s devastating to him, not being able to walk. The prostectic is painful and short lasting. The doctors try their best, but they truly don’t understand the amount of pain the amputees go thru. All the articles I read are positive.

I think I want to write an article to state, it’s ok to be sad, disappointed, angry, depressed etc for as long as you need to. Your life will never be the same and that’s awful. It’s fuckin awful to lose a limb. I pray my boyfriend comes to terms with his life from here on our.

I see his pain I see his frustration. I see his anger. I see his sadness. I see him tears in his eyes saying, ”I’m tired.” What he’s really shouting thru his sad eyes is, “Why? Why did this have to happen to me? It’s NOT fair! I Hate my life now! I wasn’t my life back! It’s not fair. I need to be loved more than ever right now.”

Depression is an understatement. Devastation.

Thanks for listening, traci

N says:

Thank you for sharing. And I also thought the % shared was unbelievably low.

Life-After Alvin says:

Traci, thank you for sharing this valuable information. I’m an amputee since June 12, 2024. Admittedly I suffered from clinical depression for a brief period after my sudden amputation. I’m finishing a book titled “Suddenly” Surviving a Flesh-Eating Nightmare.

One chapter is devoted to informing readers with important validated medical statistics and information.
How do I legally acquire re-publishing and secure rightful due credits?

Caitlin Gallagher says:

I completely agree about the depression, I’ve been an amputee for 8 years and I am still honoring the space I hold to grieve my limb.

I was fortunate to work with a specialist in the very beginning who told me “I’m glad you’re facing this positively, but you need to treat this as though your own sister has died, part of you has died and every day is different now”

I genuinely credit him with giving me the warning to keep me safe from the soul crushing lows that come along with coming to terms with it. Your comment about doubting that 30 percent statistic made me feel validated and comforted lol thank you c:

Fake Leg Greg says:

Hi Traci. I am sorry to hear about your boyfriend. I am a RBKA on 2/2022. That initial darkness is deep, and overwhelming. Has he had a peer visitor? There are several FB groups online for peer support as well.

He is right, this is not fair and it is not our preference for life. The tragedy happened, that’s a fact. How he accepts it and responds is up to him. I know it hurts. He still needs support from his loved ones. I would suggest Amputee Coalition for support. Good luck.

LAURIE HAYN says:

i would agree a peer visitor might help, i am one, if you need help getting one let me know. i feel the longer depression goes the harder it is to come back from. i’m hip disartic (whole leg to hip) and most of my arm, so basically my left side is gone.

i still drive my tractor, cook, some hiking, i feel like he might need a new prosthetist also. i had to move on from my first when it stayed painful and now it’s so much better, take care

craig foster says:

I am a peer visitor with the Amputee coalition.org my name is craig Foster, I would love to speak with him. I am involved with three or four organizations that specializes in talking to amputees, I am a left leg below the knee Amputee. You or he can reach me anytime at craigfoster9393@hotmail.com, again I would love to speak with him.

Susan Sente says:

I’m in need of talking to others I’m totally lost I need a new above the knee comfortable leg. I feel that I will never accept this. I don’t feel like a woman anymore

Susan Sente says:

I’m Susan

in need of talking to others I’m totally lost I need a new above the knee comfortable leg. I feel that I will never accept this. I don’t feel like a woman anymore

David Chasen says:

I am 73 I lost my left leg above the knee when I was 58/I have never felt comfortable wearing a artificial. Pain, sores and the feeling it could slip off.yet I know I have been a disappoint to my self and my family.I work
and I use a wheelchair.

Please help me. It would be nice to talk to a peer .Some one who understands what I am going thru and help me gain confidence
