They are offering it because they fear they will lose. Since Nick is triggered by this, he had no idea it was coming. So either he does not talk to Kayla, which would have some funny implications, or her wish to not testify did not play a role in this decision.

Which raises the question, what has happened (other than Nick being a fucking retard) that the state is throwing out a deal right now.
If they are suddenly aware of evidence that would help Aaron, they are required to share it with the defense.

My concern is Aaron has spent probably $5-10k (Number source: pulled out of my ass) on a PI to try to prove the issues with the digital trespassing and whatever else stupid shit Nick has been up to against Aaron, post-Qover. My concern is that's what Aaron is referencing when "he wants to tell his side of the story".

Or if he can prove they actually did something criminal and harmed him by doing it, i.e. publishing private information, watching camera footage of his house (or as was insinuated watching his children sleep), then he should just file a lawsuit against those faggots himself.

Having some people go through your private documents, videos, pictures (getting into the nudes you have of possibly other women, which means Nick and Melton would have committed the same crime Aaron is accused off) and possibly even watching live video from your house for weeks or possibly months... I see a good foundation to claim emotional harm and demand recompense.
