Unrelated to current goings-on, but randomly remembered this at work today.

Anyone else remember when Joe Biden, the "most progressive president in history," decided to walk the picket line and fuck over unionized railworkers for wanting sick days? Remember when a train derailed in East Palestine and released a shitload of toxic chemicals into the air only a few months later due to the dogshit working conditions that they were protesting over?

I still can't believe any part of the Biden presidency was real.
Why is "progressive" in quotes? What do sick days and work conditions have to do with putting things in your ass?

My swedish friend says Danish and Swedish news are referring to Putin as the US president.
She cites reddit as her source with 1 video being the evidence though.
Redditors live in their own detached reality unconnected to everyone else.
I will remind everyone, redditors are the type to post random videos of soldiers being killed as "evidence" of Ukraine winning. Doesn't matter whether the soldiers being killed are Russian or Ukrainian, doesn't matter whether said soldiers being killed are recent, doesn't matter whether soldiers on either side being killed is actually proof of a military operation succeeding.

Redditor's opinions on geopolitics hold as much value as your local down syndrome kid across the street.

It sounds like something I've heard before anyway, like something that has been tried and didn't go very far to irritate..

The rest of the world just can't stop staring at us ever, huh?
maybe Sweden should spend less time on fucking reddit and be a little more concerned with the fact that they're literally becoming a third world country with bombings nearly every day.

It use to be that violence like "The troubles" in Ireland were so unheard of that it was international news, now it's so common thanks to all the sand niggers and regular niggers nobody even cares.

What's starting to be really apparent in dealing with europeans is you can just literally slap them around and they won't do anything. They'll look at you confused or be their gay version of "dude, knock it off" but they will never defend themselves, both culturally the way twitter handles like Yookay Aesthetics documents and in real life.

At the very least japanese and koreans have learned to fight back when dealing with western fags being troublemakers.

People keep fear mongering a government shutdown as if it would be the worst thing in the world. Would it really be the worst thing though? Really? Everyone would still get their government benefits. Nothing really would stop, aside from Fed workers not going into their jobs (I give little shit of that).

Hell, it'd be worth a shutdown just so we wouldn't have to hear their useless screeching for a while. Remember how no one really noticed Hollywood "striking" ?
Before this admin? When people at least assumed the majority of the government was at least doing SOMETHING? Now we know they're mostly fucking around to the point they can't even list 5 things they've done in an entire week.

Shut it down. It would be the perfect time to purge everything.

edit: But remember, this isn't a real government shutdown. It's kabuki theater. What's really happening is we're hitting our self imposed credit limit and pretending that we just have to stop working because gosh, the credit card's maxed out. All of this is because they have REFUSED to actually do a federal budget for decades, because doing these continuing resolutions allow them to bring back this kabuki theater every few months and gives them a chance to pass pork bills over and over and over and over again as amendments.

But those Somali food trucks are so good!

Because far-left progressive politicians love to bleat about how much they love the working class? I don't get what you're asking.

I have a theory that government workers aren't actually aware of how much regular people hate them, because they live in their own little bugmen DC bubbles and browse social media that is exclusively astroturfed towards their viewpoints. They legitimately believe that most people are like them and are therefore terrified of a gov shutdown, as if the popular perception of the gov is that they're friendly and helpful all the time and don't deserve all this meanness.

But someone on reddit told me the roving grooming gangs don’t exist! He had the gold award and everything!

If I were a US long term planner, I would create the government like we have now, and do everything I could to pull Australia back into our sphere of influence. Australia is 40% of China's coal imports. That type of leverage is even stronger than the US tariffs.
I doubt that's going to happen. This graph can't just be explained by regular incompetence. My guess is the chinks in the other energy fields lack the powerful guanxi of the coal industry. (Guanxi is a special term in china that loosely means business family. But it basically means your personal connection to people is so important it overrides everything else in business. An example being a major chinese company having a financial meltdown, and while the company was melting down, the president was having tea first with his trading partner for half an hour before actually telling the dude what the issue was.)

I would like to again thank god for not making me chinese.

I'm away for 2 weeks and this place is down to like a post every ten minutes, when it used to be like 10 post a minute. The fuck happened?
Lack of new EO's and judges being cockblocking cunts on said EO's. Other than ICE doing their job and tariff stuff, we're stuck in traction until SCOTUS makes a ruling on these lower court judges pulling this shit.
