DSP sucks and I hate him while laughing at him but the Killer Khet revelations are complicating my feelings a bit.

Some homeless broad he moved in and foolishly married decides to pack on 140 pounds and then henpeck him about being a dumbass? Why would Khet think he’d be smarter the night he’s going on Steve’s show? She knows he’s always dumb.

He probably deserves the misery of a nagging spouse but it does trigger a small twinge of pity. Even Khet bullies him as she dies!

There's a couple v-tubers I watch and they are on what seems like every day of the week for multiple hours at a time and some are in college or have second jobs. They seem to manage to have personal lives with infinitely less free time. This is entirely a hell of Phil's own making that he could change at literally any moment.

Now that the Kino arc is closed, it’s clear that DSP learned nothing. He will continue playing video games poorly, desperately trying to court the same whales while ignoring the reality that he’s almost out of chances.

Kino, I do believe—maybe I’m naive—wanted to help Phil, maybe even prove the detractors wrong. But this was DSP’s final lifeline, and he let it slip away. The world of gameplay streaming and internet lolcows has moved on. Keemstar has an entire barn of cows now, and DSP is just a relic of a bygone era.

DSP Gaming isn’t about gaming anymore. It’s an old, bitter man wishing he was still on top. A sad, pathetic husk of a man, and no one should pity him—he did this to himself.

As for the detractors, DSP will still be around for now. But what happens after? Nothing changes. DSP is still the same old DSP, just as everyone predicted.

He learned nothing but to stay where he is, and now he normalized this crazy form of begging and goal nonsense he's been pulling for a couple months now.

That's the only thing we got out of this is him adapting some neverending grifting bullshit that makes the hat/vest goals look like small time.

Holy fuck I would kill to go back to that over what we have now because after this, I cannot look at his streams the same ever again. I get an overwhelming sense of dread and sadness. The videogames are starting to feel like him opening the pack of cards on Smark GuyX. They are 100% just there to appease him in the moment as he tries to fill in air between the begs.

It was always like this in hindsight, but it's so apparent now that his channel really feels like it needs to be put out of its misery. The droplets into a dying bunny sort of metaphor going here.

I agree about DSP being a terrible husband, but I disagree with all the Khet stuff. Khet chose to cheat and leave her boyfriend for Phil. She isolated herself by traveling to the snortfort. As far as we know, she never made any friends for Phil to take away. We don't know if she was ever going to the gym or if that was a Phil lie, but if she did stop, I doubt it was because of anything Phil said. Phil is a huge coward in person, and from the little information we've gleamed about their interactions, Khet is the one calling the shots and influencing Phil more than anything else.

Khet definitely has mental problems, but she isn't like, Jayde or Derich levels of retarded where she physically needs a caretaker. She understands what's going on in the world, she's capable of working and earning money for herself, she can drive around Seattle, she was cooking meals for herself and Phil etc. It's an extremely low bar, but I'd actually say she's more independent and capable of doing adult things than Phil. Hell, from the limited streams we've seen of her, I'd even say she's technically a better streamer than Phil when it comes to processing what's happening in a game.

I should point out that vtubers have a lot more in common with Phil's style of streaming more than the average person may think. For example:

• A lot of vtubers begin their streams with an introductory message/phrase especially if they're playing a character (Hello everyone my name is Phil McBurnell, the italian sandwich shopkeeper vtuber of dimension C97, today we're playing overcooked 2)
• A lot of vtubers post their schedule for the week
• A lot of vtubers do twitch subathons/donothons for specific tiered goals

So it's not like all DSP-isms are total cancer for the audience but DSP is such a fucking failure of a content creator that he's both a dusty old boomer of an era of Youtube long gone but also all his outdated streaming concepts can be coopted by newer streamers and see some success with it as long as they're not pathetic scumbags like Phil.

If you aren't aware TBS has a Derich issue of their own and certain detractors don't want to be involved with that. You don't think PPP will just make an ass out of "this side" as well?

It really flips the entire Kino arc on its head, before I mustered about 0.00001% sympathy for him getting into this situation because I thought that they went out of their way and sought him out to make khantent with him and pulled him into the Sektur. The fact that he went out of his way to contact them, a bunch of Sektur tards, for a collab and that initial collab itself revolved around shitting on someone else makes the whole snakening the funniest thing that has happened in the snortex since the ReeAnna breakup and subsequent fallout.

Piggy was lucky that every other person he slandered and snaked was either someone who is so much above him that they don't even feel him biting at their ankles, or people who don't want to deal with his low IQ shit. His gaming content is indeed worthless. Even the FromSoftware games, the one franchise that could squeeze some kind of entertainment out of him and the one franchise he seem to allow to challenge him, gets handheld to boredom. For Elden Ring, it seems he even had a text channel on his discord made just for tips and guides for him. Every other game? On normal. Looks up exactly how long every new playthrough will take to finish so he can plan the next one (THATS PASSION BABY). No room for error means no chance for a laugh at his expense. Complacent commentary with counting money segments in between. It's so by the books nowadays that I can have him on the background as white noise while I myself play something and still pick up on his little moments of consciousness (responding to someone calling him out, stirring up drama, the nasty daily begging, etc).

PPP pointed out that DSP don't wanna start something that just has mild success, he needs a big reward or he doesn't even consider the idea. I don't need PPP to tell me DSP privately said he doesn't wanna play video games anymore, It's been obvious.

I do want to see the DM's for the other stuff though. Him refusing the free trip to the Super Bowl, him talking about his wife's illness being terminal, his gay texts to Andy (PLEASE ), and so on. DSP will never ever leave his moral high ground and he will never ever apologize like PPP wants, might as well make all this lore official so DSP truly never lives it down.

From what I've seen so far he has threatened to release DMs if Phil doesn't apologize to them soon. He hasn't actually shown anything yet. PPP seems a bit wishy washy about if he'll do it or not. He said there is some dark stuff in them. Who knows how much he is just playing it up for entertainment, but I lean towards believing at least some of what he says as opposed to DSP who can't tell the truth to save his life. KC also promised to attack him for the "coming weeks, months, and years" unless he apologizes.

DSP being pretty silent about all this today is what I expected, but if they are threatening him like this it could be interesting to see if he gives into the terrorists demands in the next few days.

On the face of it all, this is getting to be pretty sad/depressing based on the stories being told. I don't really care about the proof or whatever, but DSP did "take, take, take, take" from them and treated them like shit basically and he needs to comprehend that is why he doesn't have long term friends. PPP did say come on the stream and lets hash it out and DSP thinks he's going to take the "high road" and just sit around playing with LEGO sets.

This is the same shit as the WWEC scandal and every other thing that happens, DSP has the chance to come out and apologize to his audience/whoever but instead does nothing and pretends it doesn't exist or even worse tries to lie about everything. This just adds to his stress level so idk nigga should just man up and apologize to PPP/Warski and say "yeah I can see from the way you describe things with our relationship that I have some faults, I apologize"...

...but this subforum has like half a million messages so I think we all know the outcome here is going to be a foregone conclusion.

It's funny because how many people in this megathread and the last one said DSP needs a proper fucking friend? Now we know why he doesn't have any, its because he treats them like shit. Like there are ups and downs in friendships and some last a lifetime and sometimes you have disputes and shit like that, but if someone is over 40 and acts like this its pretty sad.

Here's the real question the viewers at home are asking right now:
DSP refused to work with Keemstar because of the "type of content" that Keemstar makes and some other bullshit moral postulating, but if he had collaborated with Keemstar and sent drunk messages about private shit, does anyone really think Keemstar would actually be revealing them to the world even if the relationship deteriorated?
Keemstar has a way higher profile than PPP does in terms of how many haters he has, so if he started sharing stuff about people being sick that were told to him in private I think people would seriously go hard on him.

This also makes me remember that Keemstar also said DSP was basically impossible to work with, always having excuses and super specific schedule shit.

It’s common because a lot of people do things like it when they are desperate. Having a fear of death or the afterlife is not synonymous with turning to religion for the first time in your 30 or 40 years of life. That’s an overreaction/overcorrection to your fears. A normal person with a healthy mental state does not wake up one day and dive headfirst into a religion because they are afraid of death.
