What, you mean the weird glorified mutual masturbation session they had several months ago? I think it was just Keem buttering him up to get him on the show, I don't think he was for real. You bet he'd have Phil go through regular humiliation rituals like he does with everyone who works under him in the Lolcow Live network. Boogie was very hard to work with until Keem buck broke him by making him go through near daily humiliation rituals, though in Boogie's case you can tell that he loved them because he's a massive masochist.

I can call Keem a lot of bad things but I'll admit he seems like an expert when it comes to wrangling lolcows, it's clear that they're hard to work with (they wouldn't be lolcows otherwise) so he goes full Massa Keem and regularly humiliates them to remind them who's in charge. He does it so expertly that I wouldn't be surprised if he read Cato the Elder's writings on how to manage slaves and then just applied it to managing lolcows. However, we know how hard it is dealing with Phil, especially with PPP's recent revelations of how whiney, narcissistic and needy he is. If Phil ever becomes desperate enough to sign a contract with Keem I think it's gonna be an unstoppable force/immovable object scenario between them.

It really flips the entire Kino arc on its head, before I mustered about 0.00001% sympathy for him getting into this situation because I thought that they went out of their way and sought him out to make khantent with him and pulled him into the Sektur. The fact that he went out of his way to contact them, a bunch of Sektur tards, for a collab and that initial collab itself revolved around shitting on someone else makes the whole snakening the funniest thing that has happened in the snortex since the ReeAnna breakup and subsequent fallout.

We've known how this whole thing started the entire time. Phil was always a lolcow ppp and warksi would make fun of occasionally, mostly as filler it was very rare that they even did dsp clips. Then at some point last year one of the clips they covered was dsp dunking on reviewtechusa and they thought it was funny but obviously saw it as lolcow on lolcow drama. Then people starting going into Phil's youtube chat and talking about the casino and basically saying they like phil over reviewtechusa and think he's cool. Phil eventually made a kick account and starting going in their chat and begging them for attention and eventually asked to come on the show. So yeah the whole kc arc only started because phil wandered over to the casino himself and only had their attention in the first place because of his own drama content he was doing himself.

Its funny how every single "resurgence" phil goes through starts the same way- he completely misinterprets the joke that "X is worse than dsp" to be a positive thing for himself instead of a knock on the other person. Just like with the pro Jared stuff, if people are saying "man even dsp is dunking on that person", it doesn't mean they like dsp, it means that person must have really fucked up. Phil basically sees it like a zero sum game where if everyone is laughing at someone else, then his standing and reputation improves, when in reality he's still always going to be mixed in with the other lolcows.

Keep in mind regardless of DSP saying he wouldn't work with Keem because he is morally superior to Keem that Keem also made a video raging hard at DSPs schedule autism and other shit.

There is no chance it would work with DSP because he knows he can just go back to ebeggin' and make relatively large amounts of money. If the ebeggin' stops working though then he wouldn't have any alternative.

Fuck - I'd respect Keemstar if he told DSP to fuck off if DSP tries to warm up to him again (which he has been trying recently). DSP had his chance with Keemstar and pissed him off. Lolcowlive seems to be doing perfectly fine without DSP and they can always just sit and laugh at DSP for content (I don't watch it personally though but everything I've heard is that it makes a decent amount of bank and they keep the khantent coming)

Minor derail, but no. Keemstar is dyslexic and probably functions at around a 6th grade reading level. This is not an exaggeration.

I mean even taking all that in haven't boogie and wings been remarkably less lolcowish since they started working with him? I haven't heard much of either of them since they started working with keem (besides boogies fake cancer shit).

They get a stable income out of it and they get a wrangler who is basically giving them a stable job that pays way better than anything else they'd be able to find.

Phil's game choices always blow my mind. If I was the person in charge of Phil's schedule and deciding what games to play with the intention of sinking his business then I would run it exactly the same way he does.

1. KCD2 is a goty candidate. Very fun with tons of depth and massive potential for funny moments that could carry other peoples streams. Phil skips it.

2. Split Fiction super fun coop game that is very popular and is another possible goty candidate. To be fair Phil has no friends and Kat won't play it with him so that's out.

3. Monster Hunter immediately was given up on before it came out. This game sold 8 million copies in 3 days and is Capcom's biggest release ever. He even said it was a bad game for streaming meanwhile nearly every single person I occasionally watch is still playing it with boosted viewership and they play it with their friends and fans.

Phil chooses to play:

1. Lost Pause(I call it that cause DSP does) a very boring walking sim that he very much went into knowing he would hate. It's not like this game was even getting good reviews or anything. Took weeks to beat when it is a very short half of a game.

2. Digging a hole game. I like this game and have seen some people stream it, but it takes less then 2 hours to beat and he managed to turn it into multiple streams of wasting time.

3. Yakuza Pirate game. I love the series, but Phil pretty obviously is bored playing them and I still don't know why he pretends to be a fan. I assume because Kat is that he pretends to be. It's not a very long game. I finished it more then 2 weeks ago and my job is not playing video games. He is still fucking moving through at a snails pace.

4. Builds a lego set for multiple streams that an actual child can do in one night.

and as someone else pointed out you do not need to only be playing games that recently came out. There is so much good stuff out there that you have definitely not tried that you could go back to. He has this stoopid idea drilled into his flat/dent head that you can only play the newest hottest thing(unless he has predetermined that it will fail so he rules it out without trying it). I also think of someone like Jerma streaming some of the weirdest shit most people have never heard of or played like Seaman. You can find an audience playing really obscure weird stuff. Of course Phil can't do this because he is an unfunny boring retard, but just because he can't doesn't mean that is how it is for everybody.

Brother you don't need to apologize for that. That isn't even sperging in the big picture. His "business" choices could be a whole book. From his videogame choices to his streaming set-up could be picked apart for an 8 hour Steve of the Dead Style video.

The simple explanation why Phil is like this, is what PPP and Steve said, is that he just managed to fall under this path and doesn't want to get out of is because he actually has no fucking talent. Now you can see why he throws the jealousy thing out about him so much, it's because he got lucky here, and he knows it. Him squandering it should be always thrown in his face.

He's just one fake fuck and it's another reason why so many people despise him. Phil has essentially cheated and George Costanza'd himself this "career". Aside that Phil makes zero attempts to be fake out of podcasting with other people and even then he has issues keeping up appearances. If you go hear him and PPP speak to each other you'll see him actually having trouble maintaining an appearance and he actually sounds pissed off or scared. When he speaks to his dents that's the real him -- a low-functioning, lying narcissitic sociopath with a mild mental handicap and autism.

People being real doesn't need to be "real kindness". It can be "real horrible".

He was smug during his FGC days, not cause he was really good and winning everywhere, but because he attended tournaments, so he could look down on normal players. He was smug when he got big on youtube, not cause he was good, but cause he had money, so he could look down on people who had real jobs. He was smug during the king arc not cause he changed, but cause he made an appearance in a stream that gets more views than detractor streams, so he could look down on people who made fun of him for all of the above..

It's one of the reasons he rubs people the wrong way.

Wings is at least redeemable and has some personality, he's said some remarkably bad things and done some dumb shit and attracted alogs who are worse than he is but I've heard him speak a few times and he is kind of endearing. Don't know if I can say that boogie is redeemable but he does have some personality and interests.

Both of them at the very least worked with Keemstar and are better off personally for it. DSP was too arrogant to meet Keemstar halfway. DSP was too arrogant to join PPP and the UFO conspiracy niggas stream to "hash it out" (as PPP told/asked him to) and as such PPP went fucking bonkers on him.

DSPs has formed his entire personality around literally just making money and flexing and I think people kind of knew it but no one pointed it out quite as hardcore as PPP did. When you peel back the layers of DSPs persona there is literally nothing interesting - a lot of people here said for years that he should talk about wrestling because he loves it but we can see how that turned out with PPP... Not very well.

It's very much like people who make their job their entire life/personality (a fault I have had at times). But at least most people gradually learn to change things up, DSP has had the exact same thing going on for well over a decade now.

It's kind of funny in hindsight because of Leanna and the Khet reveal people were surprised that DSP could score a woman and a few people on here said "literally just have a personality and don't be boring" and while it's true DSPs personality and interestingness is paper thin and basically just a veneer. Once anyone watches him for a while it's obvious he has zero passion for what he does and hasn't had any for ages.

If Phil has exaggerated Kat's health (lets say it's just diabetes, which no shit she's fat) by saying things like taking a turn for the worst, and all this other bullshit... does he start to get close to the same ire Boogie received? Phil isn't dumb enough to flat out say cancer, although maybe he said some shit to PPP in private, but that would be 2x when he's exaggerated a family member's health for sympathy, and of course money.

The first being "my parents are getting older, hint hint" bullshit that was now 6 years ago. I guess they must have miraculously gotten better too. Did they fly to Seattle to get some of that air? Hmm
