Destiny is referring to the view some have people have of billionaires based only on those people being billionaires wherein billionaires are "evil" for having accrued wealth because in order to do so they "must" have had to exploit people and systems to get there. Exploitation (depending on your standards) may be "evil" and making passive wealth from exploiting people may be "evil." Destiny's overall argument is that because because a billionaire is not (literally) holding a gun to your head and making you make a choice as an individual between (bad thing) and (bad thing) then they are not forcing you to do "horrible things." If multiple people (bad, plural) are making choices that result in "societally bad" outcomes that same logic holds.

In Destiny's views, even without the billionaires people would still be making bad choices because the only variable remaining is the person making the bad choices. Because this is a "free market" and should remain that way, protecting consumers from themselves (via legislation, watchdog groups) violates the principles of a free market.

That is such a retarded way of framing it because either way you look at it billionaires are directly responsible to most issues related to hyper capitalism, specially since no billionaire made their money by having sustainable business decisions. Destiny started his political life as a Libertarian. That's really only the framework you need to understand most of his opinions. He never went to the "left" on his economic policies but recognized the necessity of certain welfare programs. There are plenty of people who do view billionaires indifferently or think billionaires are a positive to society and Destiny is one or both of those in opposition to your own views. The things you mention as potential detriments to individuals (society, actually) are the "free market" at work. There's plenty to be said about the topic but y'know..

Right now Destiny is walking a tightrope by trying to appeal to Asmon's fanbase while not losing complete touch with his audience and future viewers. One way people became an audience member is usually from defecting from Hasan's community ("I hate Hasan more than I like Destiny") and Destiny's liberal views were not as "right wing" as Hasan made them out to be based on what people can see in videos and on stream. Destiny was badmouthing Hasan that whole time.

So, with Asmongold it's not about being nice to Asmon to get fans interested. It's about starting on the edges of the community who might like Asmon "but..." they object to one viewpoint of his or another. If we believe Asmon's base audience to be right wing/conservative then, naturally, Destiny will showcase more of his "right wing" viewpoints.
