Funny how making a single issue (anti-communism) your Party's brand for 45 years exposes you as domestic do-nothings when your geopolitical foe implodes.

Domestically (and especially once the evangelicals began to vote), the GOP whined about abortion and "smaller government" while doing bugger all about them. (Although he would never have admitted it, abortion became to Republicans what Rush Limbaugh said other issues were to Democrats, i.e., not a problem to be solved, but a problem to fundraise off of.)

Then the GWOT and interventionism on a retarded scale became the GOP's brand, and to the Establishment Republicans, it still is. Trump’s overturning their nice tea cart has exposed them for what they really are and about whom they really care (hint: it's not about people below the highest ranks of the PMC).
another thing to point out is how the GOP only won the popular vote twice after the berlin wall fell, they went from winning near every state in the electoral college, to not even winning the popular vote because of how badly they were caught with their pants down once the cold war ended.

by all accounts the GOP was slowly but surely dying until trump came along.

After slaying ISIS, apparently the POTUS is going hellfire on the houthis. Open season!

'Hell will rain down upon you,' Trump orders US military to launch 'powerful' action against Houthis in Yemen (A)
US President Donald Trump on Saturday (March 15) wrote on his Truth Social media platform that he has ordered the US military to launch “decisive and powerful Military action” against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The US president accused the Iranian-backed militia of waging “an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones.”

He also accused his predecessor “weak” Joe Biden of keeping the “unrestrained” Houthis going.

“It has been over a year since a U.S. flagged commercial ship safely sailed through the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, or the Gulf of Aden. The last American Warship to go through the Red Sea, four months ago, was attacked by the Houthis over a dozen times. Funded by Iran, the Houthi thugs have fired missiles at U.S. aircraft, and targeted our Troops and Allies. These relentless assaults have cost the U.S. and World Economy many BILLIONS of Dollars while, at the same time, putting innocent lives at risk,” Trump wrote.

At what point does Trump just tells the activist judge class to fuck off. If they wanna enforce their orders, come up and get me.
Unfortunately that's what the dems want. They're essentially trying to get Trump into an Andrew Johnson situation, where even though Trump would be completely within his rights as President to do these things, it would still lead to yet another impeachment and despite the last two times going nowhere, congress can't really be trusted to side with Trump and at best it would lead to the dems trying to crash and gridlock everything.

Andrew Johnson was completely within his rights to do what he did but congress was hostile to him and infringed on the power of the Executive branch to try and impeach him. All these judges are making these bullshit rulings right now in an attempt to do the same, they are willingly and knowingly infringing on the power of the Executive branch but know that if Trump does something it will end up looking far worse for him.

I feel bad for Andrew Johnson since despite other things he's probably one of the most wrongly hated Presidents we've had.

...infants don't even have a grasp on object permanence, yet they're expected to know their gender identity? Da fuck loony toons bullsh!t is this? 😵‍💫

Whoever came up with this questionnaire, send them to the gulags.
Asking for the baby's gender identity isn't nearly as ghoulish as them asking for its sexual orientation a little further down. There really isn't any reconciling the left and right anymore.

I know everyone has pretty much forgotten about Fulton County DA Fanni Willis but the fine folks at Judicial Watch sure haven't.

Fanni is still refusing to admit the existence of any documents her office has that would pertain to the Trump insurrection case lead prosecutor (her boyfriend btw) communicating with the Biden Whitehouse even though Judicial Watch was given some parts of these documents by a insider and we have record of him actually visiting the Whitehouse during the trial.

Fanni has swapped back and forth between these documents not existing and her office has done it's due diligence in it's search for them and these documents are not open to FOIA requests as they are part of an ongoing case.

After failing to meet the last deadline the court has imposed yet another fine on Willis in the amount of 55K for her failure and re-issues the FOIA request first placed by Judicial Watch back in 2024. Somehow Fanni has avoided contempt charges despite all her refusals to talk with JW's lawyers or even the court itself. She's now been personally fined over 125K for her refusal to turn over these documents to Judicial Watch and the case is still ongoing.

Through the New York Freedom of Information Law, in July 2023, Judicial Watch received the engagement letter showing New York County District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg paid $900 per hour for partners and $500 per hour for associates to the Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher law firm for the purpose of suing Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) in an effort to shut down the House Judiciary Committee’s oversight investigation into Bragg’s unprecedented indictment of former President Donald Trump.

But Fanni is still claiming none of that happened even though Judicial Watch has the fucking bill for the law firm in their hands at this time.

So yah, good luck Fanni. If you thought your friends high up in the DNC were going to bail your nigger ass out because you did what they asked you are very, very wrong. Your going to be the one left holding the bag and going to jail, not them you dumb cunt. Your the one being thrown under the bus here but your just too much of a nigger to see it coming.

Anyhoo here's some law dude to break it down for you if you care.

the bad faith interpretation of the 14th Amendment
This is the big one. I hope people temper themselves on expectations - it's not going to undo gay marriage, at least I don't think so, but it would still be a huge win if the Democrats and their lawyers stop using the 14th Amendment as the "I can do whatever I want" legal argument. Legally related, although not to the 14th Amendment issue: undoing Chevron deference was a much bigger deal than a lot of people want to admit, which is why the Democrats sat and stewed about it. I don't think they want Trump going around and using it himself.
Ya, sorry his wife got shot but his anti-gun stance makes him radioactive to me.
What happened to Gabby Giffords - and the victims of that shooting - is tragic, but the shooter was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic and the actions of a literal psychotic are not the proper justification for placing restrictions on sane people.

This made my day. Fani Willis getting fucked in the fanny will never not be funny.
