Shit parkers too, and they think "I'm from Canada" will get them out of a tow and impound for it.
one time I was behind a car at a protected left turn, and when the arrow to turn left lit up, the guy sat there for a good 5 seconds before proceeding into the intersection to turn. My passenger wondered why they were so slow, and I pointed out the Quebec license plate and said that they were probably habituated to waiting for any red-light runners like in Quebec City, where red light running is a real fucking problem.

I hasten to point out this was in British Columbia, where while there are red light runners, it's nowhere near as bad as Quebec.

I find it hilarious they think that if they had refused to vote for the CR bill? They wouldn't have been seen by anyone outside of their hardcore base as the obstructionist ones.

"Yeah, there's a Republican bill on the floor right now that can avert shutdown, buuuuuuuut..... We can just refuse to vote for it and blame Trump for the shutdown!"
This was a terrible idea for two reason: first, the Democrats (the smart ones anyway) are starting to wrap their heads around their loss of the commanding heights; they can't simply transmute their policy positions into pubic opinion anymore, so they have taken at least some of the blame. Second, if the shutdown had hit, Trump would have been in control of it's execution and would have used the excuse to shutter even more shitlib sinecures.
Further showing they think the public is too dumb to figure out anything on their own and that ANY Dem position can become reality with just the right 'messaging' .

And there's Bob, leading the charge that they can and should do just that.....
If reality isn't downstream from ideology, it will produce unequal results, and that's a discrimination. (The Maoist core of political correctness: if the facts disagree with the ideology, it's the facts that are wrong.)

LOL WTF does "Defund Tesla" even mean.
So.... I guess climate change is no longer a concern then, eh?

Newson isn't going to eat shit in 2028 because he looks like Patrick Bateman. He's going to eat shit because he's a duplicitous snake that ran his own state into the ground.
And then set it on fire.

You don't need to worry about passports or borders when you're planning to be in your spaceship talking over with your robot buddies what part of red America to nuke.
Damn. I know we want to kill all humans but isn't that punishment a little harsh?

Not quite true. During the Shuttle era, courier jets with astronaut passports were on alert in case they needed to make an emergency landing.

"No, really, officer. We're American astronauts. And there's our Space Shuttle."

All this discombobulated talk of "Forget strategizing, just FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" is why there are people vandalizing and burning Teslas right now, sometimes with their owners still inside them (BTW: That's not a good look to the average voter) - and will doom you for the midterms. And not a single one will see why. Its just pure delusion to think that what people want in this country is uncoordinated violence against average citizens and their property to "teach them a lesson" about voting.

Speaking of:

Only item 3 on that list is a stated goal of the Admin, and would be a good thing for everyone if it came true. Items 1 and 2 are gross oversimplifications of cutting tax payer assistance to institutions and bureaucracies that either don't need it (universities) or do no good with it (USAID) while items 4 and 5 are completely made up.

So, if that's what the typical "thinker" in Bobby's mind thinks? 40% of their ideas are getting basic facts wrong and another 40% are fantasy. You apparently only have to be somewhat right 20% of the time to be a Bob-tier genius.

Chuck Schumer. Bobby explains the unviability of a "Democrat Tea Party".
tea.jpg
"The TEA party was a bunch of losers, and MAGA are their brain-damaged kids"

Said brain-damaged kids got their guy elected President, twice, against fierce opposition and openly-corrupt legal maneuverings, by the largest popular margin in recent history on try number two.

Sounds exactly like something the retarded kids of a failed movement that had only one success would accomplish, doesn't it?

You should probably make sure the insult fits before you use it. Bobby. Otherwise it makes you look like the dumb one.

Art can be political. But it isn't a universal thing. Trying to make it a universal thing is how you get people who inflate their egos beyond all reason trying to decode why you drew so much red in a sunset... when the reason was? That's just what it looked like. And then go on to use their "genius" to try and interpret other things that really don't need re-interpreted. Leading to disaster when you start to think there's a reason other than biology for gender or a reason beyond just opportunity for petty theft.

It's getting kind of hard to really say anything about Bob's thread at this point, because he's fallen into a cycle that isn't super entertaining. It's just him retweeting his fellow liberals doomposting about the Bad Orange Man 90% of the time, and the remaining 10% is him posting either his big-brain political or entertainment takes. There's only so many things one can say about the latest iteration of his retarded statements, so I've just not really bothered trying for the most part. I was looking forward to his brain breaking after Trump's reelection, but all it did was make him even less funny. Shame.

Ah well. Anyway.

I'd love if Will and Bob could detail how exactly Biden "delivered material benefits" to workers. Because, from my perspective, the only economic gains Biden can take credit for are an anemic recovery from a collapse caused by Dems forcing Trump to shut down everything over a cold. And those gains were hamstrung by burdensome regulation, as is typical from a Democrat administration. And the real picture is probably a lot worse when you aren't using their fudged numbers.

Then again, Will is the sort of Dem that yells at people for trusting their lying eyes and not the experts who are saying everything is fine, so I don't think he'd be able to offer any sort of insightful commentary here. Bob is just retarded.

I don't have anything to say about Patrick Bateman's podcast, but I would like to point out the last guy's reply, who I'm sure Bob didn't respond to. He makes a very salient point, though: even if Bob finds the glut of podcasts and internet media in general to be obnoxious, he 100% would not have a job without it. Where else would he go to be a film critic these days? Newspapers are dying, and any in Bob's area are probably already well covered for any critic jobs. He certainly wouldn't get a TV show like Ebert. As much as he derides how the internet lets the common man have a voice, he fails to recognize that he is the common man.

(He'd probably argue that he doesn't want to be a critic his whole life and wants to actually make movies, but the same point applies: internet video is the only path forward for him in that regard too.)
Adam Kinzinger is a RINO faggot who only exists to agree with Dems and cry like a pussy little bitch. There's a reason he left Congress after being one of the only two Republicans on the January 6 committee alongside that cunt Liz Cheney, and it's because he knew nobody was going to reelect him after being a traitorous faggot. Holding him up as some kind of principled Republican is fucking laughable.
Yeah, fuck having any kind of versimilitude in your big overarching story, just throw whatever at the wall and roll with it! Who needs their stories to make sense? That sounds like chud thinking to me!

Anyone with half a brain could point out long in advance that if they didn't do anything different, the MCU would hit the exact same problem comics did eventually: create way too many storylines crossing over a bunch of media that require you to consoom a bunch of things you don't care about just to get the full story. If you just wanted to read Spider-Man comics, not only were you met with multiple different series with the Spider-Man name, but you couldn't go more than an issue without some editor's blurb telling you where this character you've never seen before appeared previously. And that's before you got into the mega crossover events that required a corkboard to figure out how to read the whole thing.

Which is why it's crazy that, despite having this negative example to avoid, Disney still managed to fuck it up in the very same way. You can't just watch the movies for a particular superhero because they're so disconnected from each other and tie into everything else around them. Look at the Captain America series: you go from a WW2 action drama to a modern spy thriller to a huge battle crossover in three movies, and then in the fourth one he's just gone and replaced with a black guy. And if you want to know why, well, there were multiple other movies and a TV show you should have watched! Not to mention, what's that giant hand in the middle of the ocean? Should've watched Eternals! And so on and so on.

Bob grossly underestimates how much people care about continuity, and I think it's a major reason the MCU has been stumbling more often than not in recent years. As they were coming out, it was easy to keep up with them because there wasn't a huge amount of baggage yet; the first phase had movies that were almost entirely independent of each other, coming out one at a time, and were only tied up together with The Avengers at the very end. If you missed one, you could just go back and watch it later without a problem, and there was enough cultural osmosis to know who the characters were anyway.

But nowadays? I honestly laugh thinking about an average person who's never really been into the MCU walking into the latest movie and wondering what the fuck is going on. So many references and plots to any number of dozens of movies, not to mention TV shows, tangled and snarled together in a mess that the average Joe isn't going to want to try and unravel. People describe the modern state of the MCU as homework, and they're not wrong. Anyone who hasn't been keeping up will have an ever increasing list of media to hunker down and watch if they want to get their bearings on its current state, and for many people, they're choosing not to.

I also continue to get a kick out of MCU fanboys insisting that it'll get better once the Fantastic 4 and X-Men are in the MCU proper. They've been saying that for the better part of a decade now, and it just sounds like cope to me. I don't think there's much of any hype over the F4 movie, and Deadpool and Wolverine only proved that people truly loved the Fox versions of the characters, and any Disney replacements would have a monumental task trying to stand up to the originals. Ten years ago, maybe people would have been excited, but it's far too late now. Let this shit die already. Watch something else.

Kinzinger's departure from Congress is even more pathetic, gayer, and funnier than that. Illinois lost a seat in the House thanks to falling population (something, by the way, I'm not sure Bob ever talks about -- all these blue utopias who keep losing reps and electoral votes; California actually lost population for the first time in history in the last census). And after turning on Trump and MAGA, after outing himself as one of the most obnoxious, most eager to stab his former party in the back RINOS since John McCain shuffled off this mortal coil, the Illinois legislature thanked Kinzinger ... by redistricting him out of electability. Sometimes these faggots do get what they deserve.
