Ubisoft Sellout - Bankruptcy Speedrun Any% Thread

I wonder if it will earn a spot on the Julays like Concord did a year ago
Feel like it would either have to straight up kill Ubisoft or be the thing to push them into selling out to another company like Microsoft or something.

Shadows and that shitty new Snow White release a day apart, but which is going to be the bigger financial disaster?

My ideal outcome is that both kill their respective corporations, but I know that's overly optimistic.
If Shadows isn't an outright hit Ubisoft is dead, not that it just has to tread water, it has to be a hit. So, in that sense clearly Shadows. Snow White likely wouldn't even make a Disney top ten bomb films list.

id ask why these are going for over 300 bucks on ebay but i think i already know the answer

game aside, it is a nice design for the controller
Yeah my dualsense died right before concord came out and i bought that one because it had a retro look and i had 20 extra bucks to blow. Should have bought 2 and flipped one for a 4x return.

Ubisoft is starting to try and entice Tencent into buying them again. But of course its not working because Ubisoft is retarded and waited far too long.
Any investor knows at this point its just a matter of time before they can get IPs for pennies to the dollar without the ubisoft stigma attached.
Disney is bloated and retarded but still has revenue sources unlike Ubisoft.

This would've been announced regardless, but I'm glad that one investor broke the news first. Here is the formal announcement.
Bullshit. He got MeTooed and left to go hang out at his animal sanctuary full time.
Michel left the same time as the other executives were MeTooed but was not involved. He brought this up after the original article revealed his departure. I couldn't find if he was MeTooed in the years since.

MS has confirmed that AC: Shadows would be hitting Game Pass "soon." This is a tell that Ubisoft is expecting Shadows to sell poorly or use Game Pass to inflate numbers showing that Shadows is "doing well" to investors.

Since there are a few Ubisoft titles on Game Pass already, I suspect that Ubisoft is anchoring on Game Pass with their titles as a means to get by or maybe to edge Microsoft into acquiring Ubisoft or their IPs.

Ubisoft's representation of Japan is downright disrespectful and I'm looking forward to the bloodbath.
I can't pretend to be bothered about that because it's not like I'd even know unless they did something egregious like making Yasuke carry a boombox and a forty around.

I just think the game looks like the worst kind of boring slop, and even if it wasn't Ubisoft are already years late to the party because way better samurai games have already come out.

He wasn't MeTooed, like you said he left because Ubisoft was changing for the worst. I believe he always wanted to have a small team.

Valhalla landed in the 7-7.5/10 range when it launched. I'm expecting slightly worse here because as shit as Valhalla is it didn't have the incredible amount of bad press. I'm thinking initial reviews in the 6.5 maybe 7 at the higher end range.

Investors have to be magical niggers if they always have large sums of money but can't figure out that interactions or downloads do not equate to sales at this point.
Who the fuck lets these retards handle money for them?

You'll get the old IGN 7 and a few defiant 9s trying to help their troony friends at Ubislop out.
