Much of paperwork and “evaluations” required for approval for surgery, much less hormones, has been reduced to an absolute joke in the last eight years which is why so many autistic and mentally ill people have gotten hormones and surgery.

Affirming is gender is a first priority, yes the man might be schizophrenic and homeless but that doesn’t mean he’s not a woman bigot! The “gate keeping” was destroyed by 2018. Getting hormones required nothing more than a visit to PP, saying you were trans and signing a consent waiver. The bar to entry wasn’t even a speed bump by 2019.

Like I said, being in Texas probably saved Pixie because their Medicaid program never went along with the trans health coverage like some other states.
