Funny that. The President has the absolute right to declassified documents. To the point that any documents, in possession of a former President, that are from his administration or prior, are presumed to be properly declassified on their face.

Nah, a bit earlier than that. I think it started when then-president Obama ordered surveillance (including unlawful wiretaps) on Trump's campaign and other "interesting" trickery to interfere with the 2016 elections.

Joe Biden himself is a motivated turncoat. Trump's tweet largely makes it sound like the originator of this story was Joe Biden himself. Why announce or try this at all? All Joe Biden has to do is come out and say "I knew about the pardons" and bam, case dead. It wouldn't make sense for Trump to do this unless he already knew Joe Biden wasn't going to do that. Which would make sense if the person who told Trump about this was Joe Biden himself.

If Biden comes out and says "Trump's right" It would be an incredible upset. The right would suddenly be on Joe's side to a degree, and the Left would go absolutely, genuinely nuclear. It'd be an incredible upset in the political landscape, I wouldn't even know where to start looking to watch the meltdowns.
