I rewatched the video and she says she isn't allowed to stay overnights in the room with her mom because it's a two person room, meaning the mom is sharing the room with another patient. This might actually be true depending on the hospital/floor policy. If the mom was already transferred to a subacute rehab, which I doubt that's the case right now, it would be true as there are usually visiting hours in those places. They don't want people staying in those places overnight and making noise/disturbing patients when they're trying to sleep.

She also mentions her mom can't sleep because she keeps seeing a guy coming after her. Mamachu also had pleaded with the assailant while he was driv8ng carchu to let her go.

If she was shot directly through her nose and out the ear she is extremely lucky it didn't hit her brain stem. This does prove further that she is going to need a home to be put in though, because being on the streets with a wound like that especially anything in the face that is exposed all the time is just asking for an infection. If it was true she was at that one point in critical condition it could've been something as serious as sepsis setting in given their lack of hygiene and dirty living conditions, not a doctor though. The disfigurement from a wound like that is gonna have some radical changes given she definitely has COPD and one less airway to breathe through at the moment.

I know most hospitals won't discharge a patient that was in serious condition (paralyzed, organ recipient, developmentally/intellectually disabled, etc.) if they don't have a safe or clean place to live. They either keep them or just send them to a rehab or nursing home until their living situation is fixed.
