Looks pretty tasty.

I have a can of the Maple Syrup SPAM in my pantry that I cannot think of a use for

I saw a great recipe once for SPAM sushi but I don’t think it works with maple syrup flavor.

(Edit I lost the recipe lol)

What can I do with maple syrup flavored spam?

Chunk it, fry it, and throw it in with a can of baked beans. Like beanie weenies.
Who the fuck puts sour cream on slices of celery
That's cream cheese. You can combine it with many things, like dill, salt, and pepper to make a kind of thick ranch dressing.

Slice it about the thickness of a standard sausage patty, and pan fry it. In another pan make two small pancakes. Once everything is done, use the two pancakes as the basis for a sandwich with the Spam in the middle. You could potentially jazz it up with a hard fried egg and a slice of cheese.

Sorry @OrionBalls but this sounds better lol

Willing to listen to any more suggestions before I stink up my house to the smell of cat food. Suggestions?

If you want to avoid trouble, cut it into cubes and pan fry it with diced Onions and diced Apple. Lean into the maple syrup flavor by adding more, along with salt, garlic and black pepper. Keep going until the moisture content is reduced and the maple syrup starts to caramelize on everything.

Spam is honestly amazing breakfast meat, better than sausage by far. I don't get why people think it's pork slop, hotdogs are pork slop and people love that, but SPAM is up front about what it is, salted pork shoulder. You can point out what part of the pig is SPAM and it drives me insane.

I make sure to only eat it every so often. Like when it’s on sale or a gift.

But devil’s advocate, why do people treat SPAM like it’s really bad for you? I mean of course it is bad for your based on calories and such but why really REALLY bad?

Golden Glazed Spam.

When I was butt ass broke, hustling to stay afloat, I could not afford a turkey or chicken. But I did have a few cans of spam on hand and got a bit creative. Heh At least I thought so.

And people and my wife always asks for more. So...

For 1 can of spam, cut it into 10 to 12 slices.

1 heaping table spoon of Dark Sugar and put it in one cup of water.

Put your cut slices on a cooking tray and baste the slices with the Dark Sugar water.

Pour 3/4 of the Sugar water in the cookingb tray and Baste/soak your slices for 1 hour.

Every 1/2 hour turn your slives over so the slices get thoroghly soaked.

Put in over with another cooking tray on top of the other.

Heat between 225 250 degrees.

Every 1/2 hour you baste turn over the slices. Cooked to golden brown.

If you do it right, the sugar carmelizes on the spam slices. I usually do 3 to 4 cans of spam which should give you +40 slices.

Which goes away quickly at dinner.

Enjoy.
