So does this mean if a Democrat gets in next election, they can say that all of the pardons for the people involved in J6 are null and void, and thus means they get sent back to prison?
I get you didn't read it or use the highlights, so I'll tl;dr the argument, ya?
Trumps is not rescinding the pardons, that's an overstep and nobody can do that, he's saying that the pardons were fraudulently done without Biden's knowledge or approval. The President has the power to pardon people, not random staffers.
The Ukraine Mineral deal was basically extortion.
I like how this is something from a while ago now that was already argued but can we please understand that the mineral deal was the best possibility? The US gets a share of the mineral rights, Ukraine gets business ventures and desperately needed economic input, and the US gets to put troops there like we do with oil wells in the ME as protection without """military intervention"""". The mineral deal was an appeasement to all sides, the people who don't want war in Ukraine, the people who want a return on what we gave Ukraine, and the people who want Ukraine's security. Listening to Vance bitching about how Biden-era policies lead to so many losses is literally easy mode, just smile and nod!
They even had to rehire them after the backlash tho
All stories I'm seeing is that the administration is fighting against the Circuits (9th for the forestry in specific) regarding rehires, which is the same across everyone else they fired. Additionally, and feel free to prove me wrong because I can't find anything that says explicitly otherwise, but they fired the probationary employees, the people literally designed to be let go in any other circumstance. I'm pro forest service as well, have connections to it, but my guy, we're only two months into a complete federal restructuring. If the national forest service crashes out next season, then I'll happily support you in saying you're right, trump's retarded, but you have to give it time to get everything back on track.
I know it feels like it's been a year already, but we're still only two-digit days into the presidency. People need to seriously chill.
