How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I have a feeling that the reason he doesn't want Logan to be copied is because suddenly the MCU might end up kind of tame.To be frank i like most MCU movies although few i would call great. But if comic book movies suddenly got R rated dark and also popular then the MCU will either have to follow in its footsteps or it will become irrelevant. And Bob loves the MCU sooooo much he cannot accept that. Not that Hollywood actually cares about Bob.

I probably wouldn't care as much about people being mad about Affleck's Oscar win (which I think he deserved BTW) due to his sexual assault allegations (key word here) if they weren't the same people who kiss Lena Dunham's ass.

And he's half-heartedly praising Logan while making passive-aggressive jabs at it just as I expected.

:offtopic: But I'd love to see an R rated Batman movie.

He's so hilariously predictable. I should expand that 2017 Moviebob film opinions list to include all the major blockbusters and see how things line up over the course of the year.

Something tells me that if i brought up the fact that certain minority's have a much higher likelihood of committing a crime his first response would be to blame poverty.

Then again he probably wouldn't even acknowledge the question.

The fat slob can't be asked to google "poverty and brain development in early childhool", which returns about a million peer reviewed papers on the problems poverty causes in brains and the central nervous system.

The MCU's been on the fast track to R-rated material for awhile. They just keep it on Netflix.

And Bob has decried that in his reviews for every single Marvel Netflix show. He spent half his Daredevil Season 2 review bitching about how Frank Miller has ruined the comics industry forever. The only exception is Luke Cage, where he nonstop gushed about how great it is for including so much Black History references, even though "the plot is lost a little bit in the process".

It's another parallel he has to Dobson where they're both very ... childlike in their desire for safe, morally unambiguous, here's-the-bad-guy-hit-him-in-the-face-good-job comic book movies. God only knows what will happen to Moviebob when Disney inevitably kills off a major character or two in Infinity War.

Didn't he like Jessica Jones too?

I keep forgetting that series came out. Yeah, he liked it. I guess his beef is really with Daredevil then, at least until Iron Fist comes out.
