Does anyone know if Brianna had legally changed her sex before she married Frank, or was (is?) it a 'civil union'?

I am always amazed by the inverse relationship between how much Wu likes something and how little she actually knows about it. The shit about Alien is the perfect example - @pandawan cited a bunch of common knowledge. Your average person might not be able to name the specific awards but it's well-known that the film is highly regarded by critics. I don't understand how someone can spend so much time obsessed with things and not have any knowledge on them.

I don't have the pic (because I'm not a masochist) but there's a pic of Brianna and Frank together in which Brianna looks like she's dressed up as Alice from Resident Evil and she's obviously a dude in a dress. Dunno about the actual surgical logistics of the time, but it's definitely before much visible cosmetic work. I'm sure someone will post the pic, hopefully behind a spoiler tag, as it gives me the creeps

I was just wondering if she had her sex changed via a court appeal or whatever so she could legally marry Frank as a woman.

...John has so many different horrifying expressions; it's actually kind of amazing. The wall-eyed zombie deer-in-headlights from the first pic is bad enough, but for my money, tranny-smug in the 2nd pic is even worse.

Hey, you know one thing I never understood? The wiki said that John had "prominent scarring on legs, neck, and forehead consistent with SRS". I get the neck (adam's apple shaving) and forehead (fivehead shortening, perhaps hairline adjustment) but why would there be leg scarring from SRS? I don't get it.

That weird, creepy little mouth in the second pic. Is there a cosmetic surgery to have your mouth...ensmallened?

I think someone once pointed out it could be indicative of a botched surgery, though I forgot specifically what kind of surgery.
