I'm curious here: Does the money Bri is getting from her patreon count as her personal income or political donations? I know it shouldn't count as political donations, but I could see her spinning at as such.
(Assuming Brianna is using it for the campaign)
(Assuming it is actual people donating to the patreon and not some kind of artificial inflation)

There's probably about 200 pages of close observation of Wu's paymetons. The patreons go down all the time but the amount coming in remains usually stable, around $1500. So it was more than likely a credit card keeping the amount at the even level from Frank.

Which means Frank has to give Wu pocket-money and gaming money crap to the tune of about a thousand+ bucks a month, which is a lot for your melty-faced wife.

Alien wasn't nominated in 1979, because it was movie from 1979, you fucking idiot. It was nominated twice in 1980 and actually won an oscar.

The only thing Hollywood loves more than money is itself. That's why a La La Land got so much praise. It was basically Hollywood jerking off in front of a mirror. The only thing that could have beaten it to Oscar gold is a gay, black coming of age story. Which is exactly what happened.

I was about to chip in with something about how The Deer Hunter winning Best Picture isn't exactly indefensible even compared to Alien, but this sums up John's essential nitwittery so much better.

What is this Troon Reeing about now? Science Fiction and Horror movies don't win Oscars? I guess the Star Wars franchise doesn't exist, or the Alien franchise? What about Avatar? Cocoon? 2001: A Space Odyssey? Gravity? Interstellar?

And Horror movies? The Exorcist isn't a thing? Nor is Silence of the Lambs? The Omen?

I could go on and on and write up a full article about what awards what movie won, but it's a safe bet to say that as usual this troonz doesn't know what the fuck he's going on about.
