I never implied this and would be against using positive propaganda for Trump from the US government on it's citizens as well. The modernization of Smith-Mundt was written by a Republican so bringing parties into this means nothing. I disagree, You're partially correct as technically it wouldn't be the US government directly propagandizing to us. It's this weird circle of news laundering where the government pays the BBC to push a narrative for them and then they bring that report into the US.
