Are you referring to Unicity? She brought it back a couple weeks ago to help with the diabetes, but she has a hard time gagging it down (doesn't contain enough gravy or Santa Fe sauce) -- so it's gone again. Maybe it'll come back after her

I didn't find the point in time when she debunked her fasting claims, but went back to 2018 to look it up.
There have been multiple failed attempts or "all talk" about water fasting since.
This one event she refers to as a "successful five days of fasting, after which her hair was all shiny and she felt so much better" was documented like this, without archives, but still:

I don’t know what she’s been looking at but she’s using all the woo words: detox, cleanse, reset, reverse. She’s cobbling together her own version of a Magic Unicorn cure and we all know how that’s going to end up,
Clarity of mind? Shiny hair after a few days? Double horseshit. The visible hair on your head is dead and at best, reflects your health status at the time it was “made” in the hair follicles. The best you can do to change its appearance at that point is to use expensive hair products.
She’s not the least enthusiastic about this; not 1 bit. Her attitude is subdued and defeated. I’d love to know what a doctor said to her at her last visit to lead her in this direction.
Where is ‘Supportive Salah’ in all of this? How is she factoring in her Type 2 diabetes? I know some Type 2s who incorporate fasting but all I know is that it was a process of trial and error for all of them.

Does she even know what “fostering” a pet means? I very much doubt Chantal is providing Sam’s food and paying any vet bills. She gave Sam away as quickly as she could. He’s not going back to her.
Her Aunt does have a major chronic illness. She returned to Canada specifically for the free healthcare. She has the same lung condition that Chantal’s grandmother did. Does that mean Chantal would be of any assistance…of course not. I do suspect though that Chantal knows she has to eventually return to Canada for healthcare. It’s a case of whether she gets that message before it’s too late. She must know deep down that the eating healthy, water fasts etc aren’t realistic for her. I suspect she just pumps them out to manipulate Salah,and to get channel engagement.
Of course she is…it’s her birthday next week. Got to head home for the free restaurant meals with mummy, Aunty, and little sis. Also got to collect the presents (she absolutely tells them not to buy) and the new Maurice’s wardrobe.
Is it only two years? From memory Sam was 7 years old when she dumped him off to the first person that would take him, so he’s 9-10 years old now. He’ll be a cranky middle aged man cat now. If life has been great for him in his new home, he wouldn’t take kindly to being returned to the squalor, the stench, and the abuse during his last few years with her. He’ll remember her alright, and hopefully bite her on first sight.

I’m still waiting to hear what the eating plan the Dr gave her was. She said she’d tell us after sticking to it for week. Guess she couldn’t manage that, because a water fast definitely isn’t her drs suggestion. I’d love to know how she plans to have it “medically monitored”, because her chances of finding a Dr to agree are next to none given all her chronic health issues. Maybe that’s her plan for the out she needs.
Only after she’s tried twice and failed to get it for free in Canada, and can’t afford to pay for it privately. To be fair, even if she could afford it, she could never manage the pre-op diet, let alone the post-op one.

Chantal will be 41 next week. That’s proof enough that age is not an indicator of health, or need for assistance. Aunty Phil has a chronic lung condition, which was her reason to return to Canada. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that she may need help now. What is out of the realm of possibility is that Chantal would be capable of providing it, let alone want to.
