Is it only two years? From memory Sam was 7 years old when she dumped him off to the first person that would take him, so he’s 9-10 years old now.

She got Sam in July of 2017 when he was a kitten. I remember because that is when I started watching her.

She dumped him off in February of 2023. So he would have been 5.5 years old at that time. Making him 7 now. He will be 8 sometime this year (I don't know what exact month he was born).

Here’s more information about fasting and diabetes from a real human. Generally water fasting is not a problem as long as the person is monitoring fluid intake, glucose readings, and, if they take it, adjusting insulin accordingly.

That said, Chantal’s fast will probably be measured in dog hours. She’ll be back to gobbling junk food and sugar bomb drinks before sunrise.
