I don't think phil has ever even watched an interview before. Even on mainstream news channels like cnn and fox, the interviewer will bring up clips and/or quotes of the interviewee saying something contradictory if they feel like they caught them in a lie. If cnn interviewed Donald Trump for example, they would immediately have a panel on dissecting every word that was said the second the interview was over.

Phil always has these random, odd standards and rules for everyone else that just make zero sense and conveniently don't apply to himself.

Grocers have a pretty powerful union in Washington, I'm guessing it's the reason she works. And that everything he says about her not having insurance is for pity/grift, even part time grocery store people get insurance in WA.
