Plagued Waifu culture - Cartoon fuckpillows and the men (and women) who love them

Would you believe me if I told you that I wasn't trying to act like you guys? Like, I've never imagined how people can enjoy traps and how they pretend how its not gay because they're wearing a skirt.
lol

Well, I don't rock a Sailor Fuku as well as I used to... I'm a victim of entropy because I'm not a Swiss banker -- they don't age due to Gnome of Zurich magic.

You see that poster next to the scantly clad loli's? that poster actually looks kind of cute. Wonder how the parents feel of their son when they walk into his room with washing and stuff.

How exactly though did those loli stuff get past customs? I know for sure some search packages that come from Japan.

Which one, exactly? There's nothing but scantily clad (cute) lolis.
Anyways no one cares and no one will ever care about your love for anime titties.

Ah, so that's how it is huh. Probably was severely paranoid that his parents would have disowned him or reported him to the police because of having "CP posters" on his bedroom wall.

@Zach_Kun The one next to the loli in the red bikini.
Yeah I see her. I would like to bang her in my sailor fuku and anime girl wig while screaming julay and disappoint my family while documenting the experience on the farm and getting doxed and halal and then crying alone in my room with no waifu and killing myself via gunshot lol

Has nobody posted about GateBox yet?

To pre-order, it's 298,000円 which is about $2660 USD.

From the reviews it seems to be a heavily customized version of Alexa with a hologram projector and various avatars. (One of the limitations of this relatively inexpensive type of hologram projector is that it only appears on a mirrored surface, so the hologram can only appear within the casing).

For price reference, the Alexa experience without holograms can be obtained for as little as $50 USD if you go for the Amazon Echo Dot, although fancier models exist.

This sort of thing would exist only to gouge money out of people. Granted, the hologram projector thing does sound interesting, especially if one used it to replace the anime grill with say Tupac but it doesn't excuse the fact that said Alexa experience can go far beneath the price of GateBox without leaving hole in ones wallet.

They have to recoup the cost of R&D somehow, and if so many lonely nerds will pay 100,000円 for a body pillow that it will sell out in 1 hour, I'm sure GateBox has an ample target market at merely triple that price.

I'm sure there are more than a few of them thinking, "Wow, if I had something like that, maybe I would be less depressed and could motivate myself to make something of my life..." Some of them might actually even be correct.

They seem to aim for the "overworked sarariman" type of customer. In countries dominated by Confucian philosophy, people don't work to live but tend to live to work. Being not allowed to leave your workplace before the boss gets up (which can be as late as 11 pm) doesn't leave much time to spend on chatting up women, so an anime hologram seems like a logical solution. The big downside of it all is A.) people dropping dead in the subway from being overworked ("Karo-shi" = "death by work"); B.) the population curve pulling steadily downward. The Japanese may need to re-consider their values, especially considering that Confucian philosophy ("don't criticize your superiors") played a major role in the Fukushima reactor accident. Maybe the so-called "freeters" will show them the way.
